I have a friend who's been playing the game for a few weeks and I tried to take him Opal mining for some easy creds.
He was having trouble getting the yield indicator to show up. Then, when I tried to jump in, I started having the same problem. It worked fine when I was there before him.
We ran out of time to troubleshoot it, but I'm wondering if there is some sort of conflict caused by multiple prospector limpits and/or multiple cmdr charges in the same asteroid.
Anyone been mining with a friend and figured out exactly what the procedure is?
