Notice Fleet Carrier Update - Known Issues

I noticed, that I can't close my missions anymore. Since yesterday 10pm (CEST) everything worked as it should be.
Today, I took 4 missions from Barnard's Star to TZ Aurietis and can't close them there. I have the good, I am in the correct location and even the mission board shows an '!' which indicates, that there are missions I took.
But when I go inside the mission board, I just see new missions and no chance to close the old ones.

Something happened this night, which had an impact here. :(

Help. I just disembarked from my FC and now I can not dock with it because it started moving away from me - faster than I can catch it. And I can boost to 500. I tried to go to cruise and redrop but, even If get with in 8 km, it moves to fast to catch. This is nuts. What do I do?

Seriously, has anyone found a way around this? I logged out and back in to no help....

FDEV monitors are you reading this post???

Ok, I figured this latest glitch out. If you target the ship, the target reticle is un-attached from the ship and is flying away. However, I saw the diamond indicating my ship's real presence somewhere else in the system and flew to it visually as it was not moving. See pic. This bug needs fixing - crazy.

BTW: Somehow the real ship also moved because I had to fly over 5,000 LS from the main star to get near the un-catchable reticle but then my ship was about 60KM from there but not moving. This is a circus.

A few bugs from me - sorry of they have been already noted (on the 47 pages!):
  • routing with Jet Cone Boost ticked doesn't seem to work properly. I had a ship with 25LY jump range, and the route took my via several Neutron stars, but each one had me doing a jump of 35-40LY next jump instead of more like 100LY.
  • Selecting the option in routing for FSD boost (large option selected which should give double jump range) - did not take this into account. Indeed, my route had 15 jumps before I selected this, then I selected it and re-routed and it increased to 16 jumps....
  • No voice welcoming on arrival to a station, when requesting docking , etc...

Nope - Im not out of this yet. When I landed, my FC was full of holes and auto-dock landed me on the carrier surface - not a landing pad. How ridiculous is this. I am currently stranded and can not enter the FC.
(Entered problem on Issues Tracker)

silly question, but have you tried " logging out the machine" in the options tab on the launcher??

Tried to switch game from private group to open - perhaps the missions would have been returnable then. Nope...They are still not.

That is really annoying - does anyone know, if FD pays the fines, I will get for not returning these missions?
Perhaps they also could talk with the factions, where I might loose credibility because of not returning the missions... ;)

I have two FC's in the system now. One that is disassembled and jumbled and is quasi-landable (on to the carriers structure). The other may be intact but is unreachable.

Ok I figured how to get inside the FC. You have to destroy your ship by running into the messed up ship- at a cost of millions to me. This lets you rebuy your ship and puts you inside. But look at this pic below. My FC is an F-ing shipwreck with pieces missing and parts floating out in space.

I will attempt to make a FC jump and see if I get humpty-dumpty back together again when I land the pig.

Seriously, this game needs to be rolled-back. When programming logic gets this bad the patches usually end up creating a worse condition as the code begins to have all kinds of messed up branching... Roll-back, take about 3-4 months to study and re-do, beta test for 1-2 months and re-live this thing next year. That's what I would do if I were the Prog Mgr.

this is why ive not attempted to buy a fleet carrier yet, not wasting my time to have it all rolled back later on ... shall wait to see good improvements before i do...

Issues I'm still experiencing:

1) Long jump to the system which has my Fleet Carrier. This usually happens if I plot my ship jump from within System Map.
2) Ambient station sounds (usually the Outfitting Hangar) still sounding during Supercruise etc.
3) Ship transfer to carrier remains bugged.
4) Station announcers / Flight Control on stations / installations has completely gone. Only announcer remaining in the game is from the Fleet Carrier.
5) "Incoming Mission Critical Messages" do not appear.
6) Selling map data to Universal Cartographics in a station does not clear the page just sold. To sell multiple pages, one has to click out of and back into UC.
7) The irritating "chit chit" letterbox type noise (presumably for the messages?) which has been introduced to the game still cannot be turned off.
8) There is no way to transfer Tritium directly from Fleet Carrier cargo to the Tririum depository/tank.
9) Upkeep is still being charged despite the game being deeply bugged right now.
10) Ships are available to purchase at my Fleet Carrier even though I have no Shipyard installed and therefore no ship packs.

Can we have some sort of acknowledgement from FDev regarding the latest situation, when they anticipate being able to fix the game?

I'd also like to that that I'm aware FDev are doing their best to fix this, and that none of the newly introduced bugs are in any way deliberate...

BUT - having said that: this keeps happening with big updates to our game, and I'd like to know why.

EDIT: I'd also like the money for the missions I lost this week due to the botched upgrade and the patch.

Tried now to leave Station - no effect
Leaving and reentering System: no effect
Disconnecting account and System: no effect
Switched language to english and back: no effect

I am frustrated now - will call it a day and hope, it works tomorrow again...

This is a relatively minor gripe, but the ambient music that plays while in supercruise sounds muffled and tinny, as though the music file has been compressed and the volume turned down. All other ambient music in the game seems normal to me.

I haven't had crash issues, but I have had some magical disappearing and reappearing messages, seemingly at random.

Those aren't "magical" messages. They are real and they are coming from ghosts that haunt these ships.

Is it just me or somebody already realized - the moment you add one more Squadron bookmark, all of the Squadron bookmarks are back :)
