Fleet Carriers - Dev Questions

As an educated guess, no.

I assume this since I imagine the jump destination panel will be an extension of the map panel, and cap ships are not visible there.

My previously asked questions in the announcement thread:

Q. Will there be a price reduction for the Beta?
Q. Have the Fleet Carriers been tested out in VR?

Q. How will the profitability of each of the Carrier's installed services be displayed?
Q. What forecasting will be offered (in relation to time-to-decommissioning) based on recent losses?
Q. As Carriers operate 24/7 (and players can't play for all of that time), will players be able to "remote in" to their Carrier management interface using an app?

Q. What modules/upgrades we can make to our FC
Q. Where do we buy a FC
Q. Can we manage our FC remotely
Q. Other then buying it, where/how do we get the new FC fuel
Q. How long is the jump cooldown time
Q. Can we visually customize our FC

I know, thats what I meant, which planetary rings?
Ah, ok, my bad.
Maybe not planetary rings, but Belt Clusters only?
So yes, where and what kind of conditions needed for the 'certain asteroids' to spawn?
Albeit, I think that info will be part of the stream anyway.

Q. Will the Elite rank ship & equipment discount (2.5%) apply to purchasing outfitting Carriers?
Q. Will the Founders' ship and equipment discount (2.5%) apply to purchasing and outfitting Carriers?
Q. Will local ship & equipment discounts (Jameson Memorial, 10%; LYR docks, 15%) apply to purchasing and outfitting Carriers?

Q. Can FC's land on planets?
Only once. :D (= no, they can not)
Sorry, I'm not a dev, but this much info I've gathered while reading through FC threads where FDEV in put is present:
They're supposed to be like the existing megaships. They "jump" to a spot in a system and stay put there until next "jump". When in system, they don't move in relation to the body they're tied to.

Hey if we can land intact enough to keep the market and pads open, there's scope to be able to make your own CG to get back off the planet no?

edit: In fact trying to get a Megaship back into orbit would actually be a fun reason to contribute to a CG.

Q: If I own a fleet carrier and pledged to a power, do Powerplay contacts appear if I'm in my territory? Does the same apply for control / exploited systems?
Q: If I own a fleet carrier and pledged to a power and my power is expanding a system via combat, will I be able to park a fleet carrier in that system and have Powerplay contacts to redeem merits?
Q: How are Powerplay bonuses applied to pledges with carriers? Do they only apply in a territory or is the carriers area of influence counted as 'your territory'?
