Fleet Carriers Update - Beta 2 has now ended!

Surely the answer is, load your favourite long range explorer on the FC , fill the fleet carrier Cargo with "Tritium". Jump the FC as far as you can on 50% tritium use. Park it as a far out base, go off further in the explorer.
Literally my plan for supporting exploration with my carrier.

That's because you are trying to treat a carrier like a ship, like a jumpaCondaMkXX, but that is not what a carrier is. Why try to make a ~40,000ly trip with zero stops for fuel replenishment? Just because it can be done doesn't mean it's a smart thing to do.
Look, we all get that you are okay with Fdev pooping under your pillow. We know your opinion, page after page, post after post. I know you certainly don't have to, but would you consider giving it a rest? You are becoming tedious.

I'm not sure you get to decide what an FC "is".
I'm merely using the features that are presented to me and reporting any issues with these features.
If i'm not supposed to burn through 2/3 of the FC's fuel capacity in 2 weeks and therefore find issue with the replacing of that fuel in a reasonable time frame, why have FD designed it that way?

Was the subsurface distribution of Tritium also in other systems or just in Borann?
I'm asking because I suspect that FDev fiddled with this system. For various possible reasons like testing and concentrating players and FCs. That's pure speculating of course. I just wasn't curious enough to test these things: I jumped once, found nothing to see here and went away in disbelieve...
You can find subsurface anywhere (for drill), however, at best it gives same outcome as double lasers. But once you start to miss it goes worse even then single spot lasers.

Still no news about changing the voice of the announcer. That metallic voice grates on my nerves and I cannot understand it.
Still no news about getting rid of upkeep. Exactly what do the NPC do that deserves a huge amount of cash?
Still no news about the way we are greeted on our owned ships. Instead of something more personal we get...... "land and do as you are told" just like we are NOBODY arriving.
Agree with all points

Except you don't own a FC, you have it on an open ended weekly lease plan with a 5b refundable deposit!!!!
Yeh, it's like having a dog. You don't really own it - any time dog may die for many reasons, and you still feed it and pay bills.

Nope. TFB for you. As long as I see post after post, mostly from the same Cmdrs, griping about nonsensical stuff, I will refute it.

True but I am personally burned out on diamonds
That's why I postponed mining till release. Next I have simple plan - find x3 diamonds mine couple grands. Then sell it on best market delivering fuel on back trip. I think 2000t of diamonds should be enough to fill carrier to full by fuel + couple months of salaries (in case I will buy it ...still not sure).

That's like 3.2b at 1.6m credit buy price. That's a full tank plus a gooood amount of upkeep reserves!

...just finished 15000ly "that way", then back using NS heavy. Many systems like 6 earth/tera/water on the same star. Took 2 nights.
220 mil total :D ....
...I still cannot imagine why to have FC outside bubble, and even in bubble it's just expensive pet. Yeh, I want pet ... but it's useless and expensive :D

It's in the game since release in 2014: Lakon Effect
Problem is demand does not go down. If they want 5000 lets say, and I bring 128t, then I go back to mine next 128t and 1-2 hours later they still demand 5000. Despite I already sold + countless other commanders sold.
That is wrong word "demand" there. It's a suppose, that there is 1 player in universe. Then each moment you can imagine some measure (called "demand") that is bound to current cargo amount, and prices are decreased proportionally. That is "snapshot of market" which is ok for 1 player. Once we got miners rush they had to fix that, because we clear saw that simulation. Now with FC who's cargo is not bound we're getting this "measure" broken totally.

This also depends on the demand. Each item does have a regeneration rate. If it's low demand wih a low regeneration rate you would see it.

I updated prev post. It is "market snapshot". It is simulation, which works ok in single player when you cannot see market and doing mine at the same moment and now we see this using inara.

Tritium mining will receive adjustments before launch to make it more lucrative (particularly in relation to sub-surface mining).

Well, here's hoping it will be at a level where if i go exploring with a Fleet Carrier i don't have to spend a majority of that time mining instead of exploring.
