Why on earth did you change the colour of bookmarks? This is now the orangecalypse. Exactly this is why threads like NO2O exist. Make the bookmarks black. Yes seriously. Just black and white. Invert the current black to white and change the orange to black. Bookmarks should stick out, they did because nothing else was blue. Now black would stick out of all that white and orange/yellow and blue and green etc.

Orange bookmarks is very dumb move. Galaxy background is already orange, burning stations are orange, and now they make our nice blue bookmarks orange too. totally failed Ux design 🤬

Regarding fleet carriers, why are they suddenly turned with butt to the star, instead of the landingpads to the star like it was in betas? Only in few of my FC jumps, its landingpads have been lit by star (priobably by accident too), in majority jumps by far, FC is positioned with butt to the star 😡
 
Not very impressed with the patch notes.

Lots of fixes, granted, but some of the more severe ones aren't adressed.

Also that block thing: isn't that in game for quite some time??

If players do not want to interact, they have 2 DAMN modes to do that, Fdev are you seriously supporting this exploit?
I guess this ends Ganking for ever In open but never seeing certain players ever.
 
I have explained in details how this is an issue, and I will repeat it this one last time as not to clutter the thread:


Power A haulers haul merits in open because they want a fair game. Power B, the enemies of Power A, send their PvPers to attack the haulers, Power A send their PvP to do Combat Air Patrol and attack the enemy PvPers, but those PvPers have them blocked without even needing to friend them. This will result in either power A have to decide to just haul in solo or PG (which is disgusting) or have no way to counter enemy PvPers...



It does except we have people getting back at us saying "it is in the game so we will use it" not everyone abide by that code which is why Powerplay is dying which for most of us means Elite is dying, and it is.



Not really, most of our PvPer are not griefers nor grankers, in fact many of them go to Borann to hunt down griefers, now griefers can just block PvPers who can kill them so they can grief players undisturbed...

PvP doesn't mean greifing and ganking, PvPers are people who are willing to put an effort in a game as opposed to just play an easy game
Borann is finished as a mining spot so that wont be a problem anymore.
 
where's the fix for the forced power priority 1 on Guardian SRP's & MRP's that you keep promising after each update that doesn't include it still? it must have been years now that installing these defensive modules kills you if your PP integrity sinks too low because they keep being forcefully included in the last/ highest 40% priority of modules despite an active SRP being less than useful (actually detrimental) if your shields are down (and smaller ships with lightweight builds oftentimes cannot run Thrusters and Guardian MRP's/ SRP's simultaneously - so you're sitting duck in your super speedy small ship when PP integrity sinks too low due to this bug).

heck, it's probably not even a bug so much rather than that a Dev probably just made a small mistake one day and confused Guardian SRP's & MRP's for more regular HRP's and MRP's that don't use power (since they share store sections and probably other group of item sections) and therefore saw fit to remove their ability to get a power priority assigned to - which should be comparatively super easily fixable for you guys.

Niiiice! My favorite update from this lot :)

basically really integrating Arena into the main game through this one move like people always wanted? guys, it's happening - even i at least think about possibly queuing up for it now!

but many of us "want to interact" - in friendly and cooperative manners, or just by at least seeing a different player out in the void... . but the ability to block awfully persistent non-consensual gankers and suicidewindering griefers has nothing to do with any of that and sure AF ain't an exploit. if you guys still didn't learn that open mode isn't just a giant PvP and suicidewindering grief playground and nothing else we'll make you through this new ability given to players, good change by FDev in my books.

but yeah, i too would have preferred a truly working C&P system in secure systems and zero punishment + even the ability to earn a lot of credits through PvP in anarchy systems over this change, but oh well - second best thing it is then instead.
 
and nobody opposed then or devs did not take into account? I did not have time to play beta I was grinding Borann unfortunately, should have done it though :/
many complained, but not many complained on forums. i assume only because it was said its not an error and an intentional change.

Time for someone to set up a third party site where people can post the names of commanders who attacked them without reason then everyone who wants can mass block those people....

Meh... too much effort, will stick to PG/solo :D
 
I don't know if I am wrong, but lighting in station but on the exterior too, look less shiny, there is less light reflection. Maybe it is just about the system I am in? But I like it very much, in VR its king of more stable
 
This "update" should be reverted because it's not worthy to go out from Beta yet. Too many bugs. My top one in the annoyance list - missing POI from planet surface (guardian's, jameson's, dav's hope etc). I do not care about Fleet Carriers at all for now - I do not have enough money and they do not fit my playstile. Why should my gameplay suffer from feature that I do not need? What else was broken but users not yet noticed? Rolling out updates that break existing features is not what a respectable company could afford.

I totally agree with you. How people can care about an aircraft carrier and errors if the floor of the GAME JUST DROPPED. ALL GROUND POINTS OF INTEREST)
