I simply hope for a next pre-Odyssey update, as there are no guarantees. Perhaps it can focus on something besides fleet carriers (not all of us are rich in-game), something like a new Interstellar Initiative!

Agreed. I’d actually prefer that to improving Fleet Carriers.

What I’d really get behind is “pick a feature” updates, whereby the community selects from a list of main gameplay features to be fleshed out, such as bounty hunting, piracy, and smuggling, and that feature becomes the primary focus of the next incremental update.
 
Improved network performance of NPC Fighters and ships to reduce network lag.
This is not adressing the problem mentioned. This fix is talking about NPCs launching SLF (NPC) fighters and not PLAYERS launching NPC fighters. Small but important difference. It has also been tested by multiple players that the SLF Lag bug persist through this update.
 
So can so visit my fleet carrier when im ofline or even when i played in solo, so the carrier can made profit, or is there no way to make money "not online" not "in open". would be a shame if you cant make profit at the same time you have to pay for it?

As far as I understand it Carriers are permanent objects in the game and always visible to everybody.

The fleet carrier is persistent so it there whether you're logged in or not.

As for makeing a profit, you can't as you can't buy stuff at a discount and sell it on at the market rate. You can buy it at the market rate and then try to get someone to buy it at an inflated price... but who would do that?

It's purely a credit sink.

Sorry I've been busy but I had to satisfy my brain, I knew it was somewhere.

  • Added the ability to select any Commander in a chat channel to interact with them (incl. invite to wing, invite to crew, voice comms, invite to squadron, block, report, direct comms, and view gamercard where applicable)
You have been able to block people without them being on your friends list, or pending friends, for 18 months. This also works for anyone in your History tab. I have no idea why it is in these patch notes.

Inside bubble this thing will be convenient for many activities but at huge price.
Also you may do some profits ... for example sell all engineers need for unlock in 1 place :) But you will have to gather that yourself, like doing missions. And you cannot promote you sell it ... so I wouldn't bother until I go offline for weeks.

Enginners need rares almost --- cant buy for carrier cant sell no profit so or
Even other wares you can only buy in bundels so, you wont make profit cause the one thing you sell is at 0% and the others at 100% so i gues you cant restock singel wares.....

That what I mean ...you do missions for reward, then sell this reward from carrier. But not sure if market allows it there, but things are in list at least.

i thought you can only sell wares you bought in bundels? Not wares from mining or mission rewards? Or not even sell the wares you manually transfer to the carrier. Didn´t play the Beta so excuse me if im wrong?
 
I dont understand.

If your carrier is decommissioned by FDEV because you haven't played in a very long time and you went into debt, you'll get a full refund. If you voluntarily choose to decommission the carrier on your own, you will loose 50% of the debt cost. I'm not sure how long it would take for non-play to cause decommissioning, it depends on your carrier balance and how long it takes to drain that and get into the debt basement.
