I originally had some suspicions about it being a potential hint to future Guardian Construct involvement, but the Thargoid Shuriken seens just as plausible now. And probably also makes more sense, assuming that they know or are aware of the connection to Seo and weirdly act on it if she’s in trouble.

Yes, but why, when Seo was saved, she didn't tell us what happened through Galnet ? Or else I missed something.
Well, maybe she’d already jumped to another system or just hopped out when the Thargoid(s) arrived, and they caught the merc out with a shutdown field and blasted them to pieces.
Or, another possible alternative, she doesn’t want to be publicly associated to the Thargoids in such a way. She faces enough suspicion due to her implants already.
Yes, but Thargoids so close to the bubble... seems strange to me...
They’re already imvading and very capable of showing up wherever they like with little to no warning. Doesn’t always have to be with hostile intent toward everybody.
If you’re not convinced, visit the Far God settlements in Etain. It’s pretty much square in the Bubble and you can find Thargoids there frequently without getting shot at.

I did think it had an SLF vibe to it, so that would be pretty cool!My bet is that it's a Thargoid Tie Fighter of sorts, maybe launched from something bigger. Might be hard to track at that speed, plus it apparently has all the Interceptor attacks.

"eddit" better yet just google it . someone already did a data dump of the stringes of code from the alpha odessey launch before... im more surprised no one actaully knows whats going on with the game.. but yeah if you check the game files some of the stuff was already updated etc . the thargoid glaive being one of them ...
we are gona get 2 new ships base building and on foot thargoids a few new srvs one that already relased (scorpion) and a few new ship launch fighters and 1 or 2 new on foot weapons........... and the stargoids are stations but for thargoids like the ground instalations (the thargoid thingys on the ground where you put guardian relics and green ones comeout) but in space . (no atmospheric planets spoiler alert)

1. My post was partially tongue in cheek, though with FDev, anything CAN happen...
2. In my commander's mind, the Feds are the evilest of bad guys, while the Imps are only slightly above that and everyone else, except maybe Azimuth Biotech, is waaaaay above that...so I was just using "the Feds" as a stand in for "the bad guys", in general...
3.And, yes, the Feds would definitely do that...if they thought they could get away with it...but I do acknowledge that it could have been any of the, known or otherwise, bad actors...from any power or superpower...

Yeah, I’d clarify it anyway to avoid confusion. When you say Feds, people are going to assume Feds and not “bad guys in general”.
