I liked the yellow because it reminds me of construction equipment.

I went with green at first, but I switched to yellow when I was doing some mining. For some reason the yellow fits this ship perfectly.

Honestly, I picked up the DBX on a whim when I got back from my first exploration trip outside the bubble and I've been flying it ever since. I did my first exploration trip in an Adder.

Yeah my puppy's yellow as well. I pretty much avoided the temptation and held off in the bubble till I had the money for it.

Do give the ASPx a try. It might tickle your fancy just that little bit more. [up]

FYI, I moved this over to the Lore/RP board since it's more of a travelogue than about the mechanics.

The instant I could afford that Advanced Disco Honker and half-decent FSD in an Adder, I cruised out to Witch Head and the Orion Nebula and was out for a week or so.

I really like the DBX. Idk, but I'm simply not a fan of the Asp series ships. They don't tickle my fancy.

This is my first pristine system that I stopped at for this this jaunt. Two stars and some rocks, whatever. I explored the main star of this one and moved on to check for materials in a brown dwarf system that only has some small asteroids. I hit three rocks and found one good chunk of phosphorus. They may burn up too quickly, so on the third, I would select the chunks as soon as I stripped them off while moving around the asteroid to be pretty sure that I'll grab the most recent chunk with the basic forward targeting. I'll do some more experimentation before moving on.
