I had loaded up horizons beta was messing with setting got it running smooth as silk. Wanted to go to one of my ships in dock but wasn't on my map and couldn't remember the name.So jumped out and loaded up my live account and my god the Fps dropped to 20 from 75 in horizons. To me that looks like FD are definitely going in the right directionality with the optimisations well done all. Next year is going to be exciting in VR

Yeah I have noticed how much slicker 1.5 / 2.0 are in terms of performance, I thought I was imagining it. Only at certain times do I drop below 75 and get some shimmer, mainly in Horizons in the large planetary ports.

Same here it just drops very slightly whilst in the hanger above ground is fine which I thought would be the other way round lol
