I guess it comes down to the specific stats of the animals you own, but I found the Alpine Goats working well with litters of 3, often giving 2 golds
And I guess Warthogs might be even better (but I was already doing ok and didn't want to branch from antlers and horns to include tusks too!)

Anyone else finding that 2 golds are often less likely to produce a gold compared to breeding a gold with lower quality badge?

Mainly due to how the genetics work for Fertility and Immunity from my observation, but it does seem to mean that my better quality 2nd generation of animals aren't giving better results

I haven't really worried about it .. hence the low numbers .. I've just been jumping from zoo to zoo to see who's breeding and if any of them are gold and with horns rofl. Not sure how many generations my gemsboks are but they've given me 3 golds so far.

I'm at 26 with 6 female 1 male gold gemsboks just matured up and ready to go again. Hard to say .. it's a weekend when more people have a chance to actively play so .. we will have to wait and see.

Such a contrast in styles :geek:
Not sure it helps much, because it takes me a couple of hours to cycle through a game year, but
I have 4 pairs of habitats like this; one public and one private for each of Desert, Temperate, Taiga and Grassland

Yeah, with birth challenges, I just play as per normal, first day I cycle through all my zoos for candidates, then pick a zoo to play. This week I chose my GHI zoo that's on it's 4th or 5th rebuild.
With release challenges, I create a special zoo with candidates, then reuse the zoo if it's made money.

Well, ended the day with 36. Not great but gets me on the last spot. With a 20% or so increase in the last 24 hours or so ( currently at 54% for PC and 34% for Console) , hopefully will finish up the day tomorrow with a complete fingers crossed but does look tight. Surprised that console are struggling, but maybe due to less horned beasties to utilise.

🙄 That number is ten times bigger than your comment implies and suggests Moorwiesen is only at 5% of the total (& my 264 is only 0.13% :()

So I'm hoping that's one more 0 than it should be, otherwise that's 20 times the target we've normally had

Yeah, I am wondering if it's a mistype on their site, one less zero makes much more sense :)
