freeze on planet landing

It’s hugely frustrating as I have made it to Elite Mercenary rank and am half way through to the next rank. Most of this progress was achieved before update 7 when combat zones on foot worked pretty much fine.
To say it’s been a grind since update 7 is an understatement! Having to reboot every 5 out of every 6 spawns at a CZ because of this BUG certainly hinders progress and enjoyment.

When going anywhere near some CZ's there is a massive system pause see below link managed to get it on video, look at the radar and FPS in the bottom corner.

I see you run version 4.0.0.900, is it still the same with version 4.0.0.902 (currently at 31 oct the latest version)

It is the same since the 30th October mini-patch. The patch wasn’t addressing the FPS drop issue.

Thank you for your detailed answer.
However, this is not the error that occurred with me, but it has affected every planetary landing.
The last fix seems to have solved the problem. Since then I have only had a freeze followed by a crash.
What is really strange is that the crash report pops up and the game only crashes 1 to 2 minutes later.

So at the moment everything is fine and I'm getting on.
