Translators do their thing from a second language back to their mother tongue according to my translator friend.
I can also confirm that this is the way to go, having done a fair bit of translating from Dutch to English. The other way around is NOT a good idea
I would consider a role that involved managing the product(s), I've been managing critical software for 15 years now. I would like to get into the game industry as it's a big passion of mine. Strange thing is, I've never seen positions such as product managers advertised?
I currently manage the bigger picture, all the usual product and development areas, but also the marketing, customer relations and revenue streams too. All have roadmaps, the key is keeping them in sync, it's a real fun job trying to get the silo's talking.
If ever such a position should arise, you know where I am.

Unfortunately FDEV are too small to have too much use for someone like me. I specialise in IT Processes, particularly ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library). Refining, optimising, and managing flows such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Configuration Management. I am also certified in Security Leadership.
Mostly this stuff becomes more important in much bigger organisations, although small companies can benefit a lot too from well run IT process, they are not usually interested in taking on many specialists for this type of role, delegating it more towards their exisiting management.
Such process flow failures in incident and problem management may become visible by less well managed handling of customer support issues and ticketing for example...
(Although from what I've seen from a customer perspective, whoever is responsible for change and release management at FDEV is doing a great job!)

I'm not looking for a new job at the moment but I am a Magento Developer (5 years), I'm accredited and I live about 30 mins from Cambridge, so if you need any testing done in exchange for some in-game goodies I'm in.
It's not one of the positions mentioned on the website, but should you need a freelance translator from/to English - Italian - French, I am available and would love to work with FD.

Yeah, now that you mention it I've never seen a game company advertise the need for a business administrator. It's always some type of developer. And game companies certainly need such people in their organization. I'd love to work for a gaming company. If FD posted an opening requiring a BBA, I wouldn't be able to submit a resume' fast enough
Moving from Georgia to Britain would be quite a change but worth it.
to bad i was born a bit late, just about to get started on my 3 year course in game programming in cambridge (cambridge city not the uni) and i'm looking at another 3 years postgraduate afterwards. damn you time. maybe by then you'll be looking at apprenticeships?

I'd love to apply for the IT Support role, but unfortunately while I have the skills and know-how, I don't have the qualifications or experience to back it up.
