Frontier, please enlighten me? Player feedback welcome.

Patch is delayed so don't expect anything until August.
And for ssd, i get max 3 chunks per hit and not always in single tri hs and pristine ring.
Unless i misunderstood you and you talk only about belts? It's useless most of time unless they have been buffed?

August is three days away. Nothing to get my pants wound up over.

And yeah, chunks per deposit not great, but the deposits are literally everywhere. So bring more missiles.

.............But exploring in one atm no. I'd wait till they've fixed it.
They said they would.

🤣

For my part, I explore a bit then, when I find a Tritium hotspot I call the carrier and do a bit of mining. I mine at least 100 tons plus whatever it took for the carrier to jump to my location - usually around 20 tons. In this way I gradually fill up the cargo bay.

Some claim they do, no doubt there are still some who believe in the Tooth Fairy and Free Lunches too...
But I guess those folk, who 'know more' are happy in their 'knowledge' :)
Some aren't tethered to reality either. Although I did wonder a couple days ago in a thread now closed, why don't these individuals with their vast knowledge pitch their solutions to FDev directly? Or apply for a job there?

Maybe FD run an anti-gob**ite policy? I think the thread you refer to highlighted some of the aforementioned poop-mouth persons concerned ;)

Think you took me out of context there. I don't know what level of QA happened but I agree it's good they did not just ship out without some testing / QA.

I take the delay as a positive for them and us, you can learn from mistakes...
Oh, it wasn't directed at you specifically, Nutter, it was more of a general observation. Sorry that I made it sound otherwise, because you and I are in perfect agreement here. :)

Shouldn't there be a much better solution to fueling your Carrier when there's already an upkeep cost to consider? They seem like an extremely heavy time and duty sink.

This clunky re-fuelling mechanic is one of the reasons I have decided not to buy a Fleet Carrier even though I tried them out in Beta

Mines 14k lyr out which cost around 5,000t of tritium. I still have 13,000t left in my hold. 18,000t cost me 700mill. Im using it to mine and explore atm - grabbing tritium when it shows up. So far ive managed to mine 30t of tritium. They need to make it incredibly abundent - like 60-70t in each rock or rocks galore everywhere! I cant see ppl putting up with mining tritium for hours on end just to jump a further 500lyrs.

This game needs a Dev team that actually play the game and actually care about it rather than the half n half team that seem to be working on it atm.

Frontier even ran a galnet story arc about fuel price fixing as they changed it to the way it is now.
Let's just say there was a reason a 4A scoop was standard equipment on the old cows.
This doesn't invalidate my initial point. Refueling has a negligible cost on all ships so why is it a grind wall for fleet carriers?

No, just that it wasn't always so cheap and tritium costs right now are more similar to what refueling used to be like than you may have realized.
