Hi all just wondering if there is an official guide on setting up all the new discovery scanner stuff, i have now spent my last two play sessions just trying to work out how the F i'm supposed to setup keybinds when i don't know what all the features are, what they do or even what keybinds need setting up. I think it's a bit lame they released this without anything setup or at least a guide on what needs doing to be able to use the new features, as we don't know what the features are so don't understand what they do.

Hmm, you didn't ask fora binding guide... lots of options, depends on what you control setup is. If you want fdevs guide use the default controls.
You asked for official, there are quite a few unofficial guides on YouTube that go into binding details.

Setting up the discovery scanner i thought was all about bindings unless there is something else they are keeping secret. The only key that is bound is the exit mode for the detail surface scanner, there are no other keys bound by default, I have no access at all to the scanning stuff and i don't know what needs binding so i can use it.
I have watched a couple of videos on you tube but they don't explain what the binding is your setting up does so no idea what key to use for it, all they say is bind this function with this key.
