Frontier's Mistake

Time to close this thread :)

Old Duck changed his mind already (again)
Don't be dumb. What I say in this thread by no means contradicts my own personal interest in Fleet Carriers or vice-versa. Read both OPs again, slowly, and maybe you'll comprehend this.

More options like smaller FC's for personal use and big squad FC's for multi player use. We got neither in 2+ years of planning and delays! These seem over-thought which entailed most players were over looked.
They probably had received a bit better response from the player base if they had. The personal carrier for 1 or 2 b with very basic modules only, shipyard, module storage, cargo storage. Then a large being the one they made for 5 b. And then perhaps a mega class with 32 pads and more cargo space etc, but only for squadrons. Something like that.

Even if I had 100 billion credits, I would take the small fleet carrier over the others. Right now the only large ship I fly is the Type-9, and even that is on rare occasion. Large ships in ED just feel TOO BIG for me (especially without a crew). The same goes for this huge Fleet Carrier. In fact, if I get one, I'll probably fill the large pads with specialized Type-7s (which I consider a medium ship stuck using a large pad).
