FSD Booster as sub slot module

Can we introduce module sub slots to power plant, FSD and shield generators?

the recently added FSD booster takes up an entire module slot, can we have this changed. Can the FSD have sub-slots maybe allow 2 maximum, allowing us to insert the FSD booster into the main FSD module.

Make it work like a fighter does inserting into a hanger.

Should you ever introduce more bolt-on devices then we have a choice of what to insert. you may end up introducing some guardian and thargoid source devices. lets say there are 5 to pick from, we get the choice which 2 we insert.

Shield stiffeners, quick charges or frequency changers could be introduced into shields is another example of slots on a main module.

+ to this idea. Same goes for all sorts of scanners. Giff moar heatsinks and PDTs.

But there are concerns of balance. It would be that ships with smaller FSDs will stay with short ranges, and ships with long ranges will get even more range. Maybe installation in FSD sub-slot should be left as an option alongside current one, pretty much as mil slots work.
