Horizons FSD Injection Synthesis Stockpile Question

So having all the materials for the Premium FSD Injection I have been synthesizing them all at once thinking they are stored somewhere when I need to use them.

Now I'm beginning to think that they don't store and that like other synthesis once I synthesize 1 it is set to use, but if I don't use it and synthesize another one, that it just replaces that first one and doesn't keep both for use later on.

Which one is correct before I waste all my Polonium as I've been doing and not actually using the boosts yet...

They don't stack if that's what your asking, if you synthesize a second FSD injection, it replaces the first. and once you jump, it will be used.

So you have to inject when you need to, such as crossing a large space gap.

Thanks for that. Good thing I've only wasted 6 of them so far. Normally I've never used them, but want to have a few in case I neutron star jump into a trap and can't get out without some. I'll just save the mats for some of them and then synthesize them when I need it like you mentioned.

Makes sense too or otherwise people would just synthesize a ton of them at once and blast all over the galaxy in no time...
