You won't see the problem when you don't need to sit in the corona for long periods. Jumps of 5-10LY and you won't even notice.
In other words, use it to fill more than half of a 32T fuel tank, at once, and see if your opinion changes.

It sounds like you need to upgrade your power plant. Heat management is tied directly to your power plant. If one user is having no heat management issues using the same scoop as you, it'll be because their ship's heat management is better.

Yup heat management on A class plants are so good you can dive really deep into the corona with little fear and get max scooping rate very fast. Normally cook my Python to 125% heat with plenty of time to get back out. Using class D power plant this is way too risky and expensive.
