However this is probably the oddest one I've seen so far, I guess it must mean something to someone out there.

The most adorable, fluffy and stealthy killing machine imaginable... in space.

I have no idea what a Plasmingo actually is... some kind of fusion-powered flamingo maybe?

Next up, Ming the Merciless in a Lakon Type-9.

The second rule of Elite: Dangerous is... YOU DO NOT TALK ABOUT ELITE: DANGEROUS.

Well that's one way of avoiding terminators, climb in a Sidewinder and take to deep space.

"You know Paul, flying an Asp is a lot like making love to a beautiful woman..."

In fairness Street Hawk would be of limited use in space - methinks trading up to a Viper was a good deal.

I also encountered Grumsetuff, Didimus Von Unterton, Stijn in T Veld, Fattyboomconan and Sancho Cooley, names that just struck me as weird or amusing.

I saw John Peel

He was flying a sidewinder and was wanted for 690cr. Though I was bounty hunting I couldn't take him down. I have too many fond memories of him and his shows. For many years he did a show live on dutch public radio for a broadcasting organization called VPRO. "Hi, this is John Peel live from the BBC in London" and then an hour full of great music followed.

Unfortunately, the System Authorities didn't give him the respect he deserves and attacked him. I decided to pay back the authorities, put four pips to shields and "clumsily" flew my Cobra into the firing lines between them and their prey. Luckily John understood I couldn't block the authorities forever without getting into trouble myself so he jumped into supercruise. Shields almost down, I breathed a big sigh of relief.

No idea if it is funny in English too
In fact I have no idea if it is funny at all if you are not smoking pot at the moment of encounter.
Oh I misspelled something. Wanted to say I was smoking HOT at that moment.
I was Fuel-scooping at the time.
I think its time for some Fuel-scooping in real life now.
