Yep, relogging and milking same roid with ssd was... messed up. If anybody thinks that there are no ways to make moneys, in 2 weeks I can get You an fc using a sub 20mil ship with 0 engineering and 0 risk. 3 words - deep black exploration.Because better late balance, than 0 balance, especially with fact, that I see that we still have new players. And now, they doesn't create 2 games. They created 3 games:
a) million from mission? WOW, CRAZY, TAKE IT
b) only 200m/h? tHiS iSN't MoNEy gIb mE EGG
c) something between 2 previous, no crazy moneys, no 200-500m/h from things, which doesn't require any ships, modules, skill and knowledge, now you can earn even 60m by kill 1 ship, if you are badass and can kill hydra, the biggest challenge in this game. Maybe they hit haul missions so hard, but still you have 18419 good ways to earn cash, not 1 stupid riskless mining for 200m/h (and more with exploits) nothing for loooong time, stacking elite massacre wing missions for 100m/h IF you have good combat ship and some skill, cause ship isn't all. And after it again nothing for long time. Now this is closer good game, than before, but what are you doing Fdev, fix smuggling![]()
PS: On clear save I reached 3 combat ships and 1 exploship in few hours, by only combat, so pls, stop complain on "terrible grind". IMO more than 10m after few hours (ok, ok, ok, for first 2 hours I just sightseeing starter area, cause I never saw it), starting from freewinder is very good progress.
Cargo and Data delivery missions, now have lost any financial incentive. The payouts for these types of missions have gone down by about 60%. The payouts for these type of missions was not excessive, I found the best financial reward for delivery cargo was for 180 units (180 was maximum now seems to have increased to 196) of Palladium with a payout of about 10.5 million credits it has now gone down to about 4 million. Data delivery missions have gone from about 57,000 to 90,000 credits when allied, to 22,000 to 40,000 approximately. I agree mining was too high and made earning credits too easy, but cargo and data missions was not. This will affect anybody who does missions, which I would say everybody does at some time especially newcomers. I think that they have made a mistake doing this and ruined part of the game.Greetings Commanders,
Welcome to the third and final set of game balancing changes this side of 2021. In the new year, we'll turn our attention to other aspects of the game that you've raised in your suggestions and feedback. As promised, we're making some further balancing changes to other elements of combat which can be expected alongside a GalNet article later today:
Combat Bonds
High-end NPC combat bonds will provide many more credits, seeing an increase from around 80,000Cr to 400,000Cr. Similar to the recently updated bounties values, the HUD will not reflect the new figure after a kill, but the transaction tab will. These may (rarely) appear to be issued by the Pilot's Federation.
Anti-Xeno Combat
Thargoid combat bonds will provide 4x as many credits as before.
The experience gained from Thargoids which contributes to Combat rank has been re-scaled. This means that Thargoid scouts will provide less than before, however each interceptor will offer more than the last, all the way up to Hydras. The exact amount earned will vary according to the number of pilots who contribute to the kill as well as their various combat ranks.
Delivery Missions
The increase in minable commodity prices has had an unexpectedly large effect on delivery missions due to compounding multipliers, allowing large numbers of credits to be earned with minimal risk and effort. To re-focus the earnings on the effort made, the rewards for these have been changed so that the distance travelled and quantity transported has a larger effect on the pay. Payouts remain relatively high and will be monitored for any further necessary adjustments.
Thank you as always for your replies and insights. Your feedback continues to be invaluable and will drive the further changes in the new year. In the meantime, let us know what you think about the adjustments above!

Right. Rewards in wing should be shared, not multiplied. In wing missions too.Well, it will be fair if reward for group kill will be less then solo kill.
About earning money- people which think, that without mining or cargo "no way to make money" just don't know game, because:Yep, relogging and milking same roid with ssd was... messed up. YES PLEASE!!!! Instead of 25% cut on stolen goodies, give us 25% top up... niam niam niamI'm also interested to know if - now War is on the horizon - blackmarket trade might .. umm .. increase.

Well to all those new players that want to make gazilions to buy biggest ships in no time... there is alway free conda in Hutton. And the mugs...agree the cargo and data missions need increased big time and to make it grind grind for new players with drive them away a stoped playing for a while and if they keep going this way they might lose players am holding off to see the way this is going b4 a decide if and going to buy the new dlc and not to forget that some passenger mission to colonia for 6 million not a change may be if it was like 350million plus scan data then a might fdevs need to think about the playouts are still rubbish
I don't give a sh*/* ... I already bought everything I wanted. Without suffering and now I enjoy the game.It makes me laugh how some of the 'new players' want to get those big shiny ships asap. Yes you can get the A rated anie very quickly but so what if you go to haz and get slapped with a rebuy cus You went against a wing of 3 deadly vultures and got wrecked cus you have no idea what You are doing.... been there myself, no need to rush. Plenty to enjoy in this game, all comes with time. And if You don't have time? Well... it is what it is then.
Lets all wine about devs nerfing a stupidly op mining. You're late for the party, deal with it.many where here BEFORE the party as well, yet how many of them had the balance to buy FCs before mining bonanza? I'd say many. We managed. So can You. Too grindy? Ask for refund and move on.
are you mining?ehm, mining does bring a lot of money... just not as stupid much as before.
It's not that mining should not earn. And I ask without whining about the fact that someone mines and earns and the rest do not mine and do not earn.

So this is a nerf, not a balance. You yourself just wrote the definition of a nerf ... A classic substitution of concepts. The first reason why this is a nerf, for the reason that all of you were simply abused by throwing a bone in the form of an extra million credits for each type of income ... and even then not for everyone. But at the same time, mining was finally made uncompetitive in terms of time consumption. It's not that mining should not earn.
It's about semblance of balance, so that one way of earning isn't disproportionally faster than all the rest.
Eh?mining was finally made uncompetitive in terms of time consumption
Sometimes to achieve balance, You need a nerf.So this is a nerf, not a balance. You yourself just wrote the definition of a nerf ... A classic substitution of concepts. Yeah, I got confused as well, anything compared to mining, pre-nerf if You like, was nowhere near competitive in terms of income per hour (I assume that's what You meant).
