He did indeed. It was rather a dramatic scene in the novel as well, as I recall. I've not seen the series version yet, though.

Actually, now I think... it was A chain in the TV show but perhaps the one she was wearing rather than the hand's chain? Perhaps one Tyrion gave to her at some point - that would be a very TV thing to do!

I'll have to re-check the books, but clearly I've been misremembering things.

Perhaps some of these elements just come across a lot worse when seen on TV as opposed to when reading text.

I've only seen season one... although I thought it was too much focus on sex. I don't mind, but that's not why I want to watch a sci-fi or fantasy tv series

Game of Thrones = Power Play Yup sounds legit I just love it, just leave it as is....

So more sex and more dirty power play LOL
