Gamescom 2019 - Streaming Schedule

I think that there should be freedom to think and write your own thought, even if it’s not always enthusiast and happy. I think I wasn’t harsh, I only wrote that I wasn’t really happy about some live streaming, and I was very careful to not mention the names of the streamers; I also wrote that was only my opinion.

I’d really appreciate if you clarify the situation as you do, but without delete my post.
In the way you done it, no one can go back, read my post and see if it was harsh or not.
In my opinion, even if done with apparently kindness, this is more harsh that what I done.

I think Frontier has done a very good job and I’m sorry If I didn’t demonstrate my appreciation like I would, PlanetZoo it’s an awesome game and I think that I’ll buy it, but this (the cancellation of my post) is a thing that really made me sad and injuried.

For this reason I ask you to completely delete my Frontier account; I would like to say hello to Nightcat, Voids Light, Luuknoord, EternalAbyss and the others that interact with me in this forum, was a pleasure to deal with you guys.

Paul please completely delete my Frontier account, thank you.

Oh no, please don't go. Your posts are often really awesome. I can't imagine you said something too harsh, but I didn't read your post. Just please don't go. I'm also not happy with some things and decissions here, but the community is (in parts) really worth staying. You can PM me your furstration if you like. Sometimes it helps. And I guess I know which streams let you back frustrated.

A request for account deletion would come under the GDPR "right to be forgotten" - and there's no coming back from that.
That's fascinating. So you think Frontier will make him disappear forever?

Edit: damnit, it's so easy to get enticed into all sorts of silliness on internet forums. please delete all this, none of it is even remotely on topic.

Hey all. Thanks for all your feedback so far on the streams. We appreciate that there are some bits you'd like to see done differently and we'll be seeing what we can feedback to the Gamescom team. This is all early gameplay footage and we'll be making balancing tweaks later. We've still got a bunch of streamers to look forward to so there will be plenty more opportunities to learn more about the animals and how to successfully look after them :)

If you have more feedback on the streams themselves please feel free to share them, we just ask that you not call out any streamers specifically.

With the same build everyday and with no possibility to save, crazy people like me, who watches almost all the streams, won't see too much new by tomorrow. I was expecting more. However, it's nice to get to know streamers I did not know. One or two are really worth following. Others are worth grabbing chocolate while watching. :D

I still didn't find out how you catch animals that broke out. And I feel sorry for the streamers to go through all the problems in this build ever and ever again. We are probably all tired of death animals by now. I mean, is there even a chance to fix all problems in time?

I do like the many streams but I agree with Swjosdotschka that seeing the same zoo over and over again with the same troubles (and fixing them again and again) will get boring. Isn't there an option in sandbox to turn the animal needs off, like in Jurassic World Evolution? Then the streamers could focus on showing off building tools, creating exhibits and stuff without all the annoying breakouts and deaths.

That being said, the game itself looks awesome. I love all the details you guys put in there, like the staff buildings and the weather. I am also a big fan of the terrarium exhibits! They look so much fun to play with :D Can't wait to see people to stop showing things around and just play it! I would love some real attempt at getting a better Zoo, instead of just showing around, we've seen that now :)

I know I can be harsh as well, but I always try to give constructive feedback.

Also, I just report whenever I feel someone is stepping over the line. I always tend to avoid responding, because that tends to have it go further off-topic.

I did report some posts here, but I did not report Matteo.

Such a shame, thanks for contributing on this forum, but I do genuinely hope you ain't leaving. (y)

Another idea I got for @Paul_Crowther : Maybe next time, if there will be a next time or for any game in general you could give Streamers a 'subject' to cover in their game. Like Someone focusing on general looks, someone focusing on animals, someone focusing on building habitats, someone focusing on the more management side of the zoo, or perhaps a few streamers per item. That way people could decide what they are interested in and which ones they would watch. Streams could switch items if they stream multiple times so fans of one streamer could see more items. I don't know... just a bit more redacted so it's not too much chaos on one big pile. People don't want to miss things so they will watch everything and then kinda waste their times by seeing the same and the same.

Just an idea that could work the next time, free of charge! :)

That would leave me feel like the streamers are scripted and not say and show what they want. I'm already annoyed that they are more or less bound to say the release date and the price, but well, it's advertising.
Really, if you know the streamers a bit, you can tell kind of in advance how they will approach the game. Rudi didn't let me down today. He did his homework and was not repeating others mistakes and it was a really fresh and new stream. Unfortunately I may not be back home from a doctors appointment, when deLady starts, but I'm pretty sure I can look forward to some cool building stuff or a closer look at the animals. We'll see. I'm curious about BestInSlot, because I looove his JWE gaming but never saw him play Planet Coaster. I expect countless bloody marys though.

What would be cooler than scripting streamers would have been three different zoos, so one new per stream with new animals and such.

I've seen 6 streams so far.

Most streamers unfortunately don't know the planet universe and haven't looked at planet zoo before. Unfortunately this is noticeable. Some don't even know how to remove walls. So far only 1 streamer has built a habitat. I think most people think that you can only manage a finished zoo, but don't know that you can extend it. For me the streams are therefore unfortunately not interesting.

It seems as if the streamer selection was based only on the audience reach and not on the know how. So far only "Rudi Rennkamel" was bearable.

You mean Bloody nora...

I'm also super excited for his stream. His humor is really top notch and he knows how to play a good game. Been subscribed to him for years now.

My bad of course Nora. But Bloody Marys during the stream would make it even more funny, I guess :D :D :D So sorry, BIS, if you read this.

Being new to the Planet franchise seems to be te case for some, that and the fact that the Zoo is on the brink of disaster and chaos is what throws them off a bit. There's so much happening that they can't figure out what to do first! I hope the streamers that go for round 2 in the upcoming days will have a better idea now :) I'd like to see some problem-fixing and habitat building!
