Some of the major issues their updates have had in the past, I don't think they test them on a fresh machine at all, it is all on stuff with masses of workrounds and in house fixes.

Belive me (I work in game dev industry) even with good QA those things happen, also there is no way to reproduce hundrets of users hammering down servers, well you might simulate it, but it is will not be the same

I work in commercial software dev delivering high availability online servers to the Financial Services industry. We use open source software to reproduce thousands of users hammering down servers, it's really not difficult.

Probably because of places like 'Cox Ring' etc... it's a family game after all.

1. Piracy
2. Murder
3. Drug trafficking
4. Slave trade

Given that, I find the need to avoid offensive words in the game just a little bit silly.

Do they get the cleaner to Test and QA on the updates?, might find the issues prior to release.

As a software tester and someone who was also a cleaner for 7 years, I don't really get your point. Are you saying that testers don't know what they're doing, or that cleaners are people who are either not worth anything or not clever enough to be able to do other jobs?

I was in there G1 when I was kicked out. Updated to G1.01 and started playing again, map data started showing as corrupted then game crashed again. Left it for now. Maybe G1.02 will appear before the end of the night.

Getting in but using FSD locked the game. Can hear sound but image is stopped. CTRL+ALT+DEL to quit.
