Maybe try deleting and then recreating your rules for Elite in Windows Firewall and any other package/appliance you run.

well now i can load in but it keeps crashing out with can't connect to server error and i think i might have lost all my progress due to the cant retrieve commander data message

2.01 - removing movies worked.
2.02 - movies played fine, but then I got orange spinning ship of doom, now I'm getting "cannot connect to authentication server"

Yes, this normally happens if you launch the executable directly i.e. not using the launcher. Because certain command line options included by the launcher would then be missing. How did you get this?

Same here, but prior to that happening I was Leaving Nima (Rushworth Terminal)and all mouse/keyboard/joystick/voice commands stopped working. Even the ESC button wouldn't get me to the pause menu. I had to ALT-CTRL-DEL and quite the app, then I started the game again and got the dreaded "LOGIN FAILURE" message

Is it my imagination or have the "Accept" and "Decline" buttons swapped positions? Already accepted 2 missions I meant to decline as a result of habit. Why do I always feel like ED just loves to program "haha - gotchya" into things...?

2.01 and 2.02 did not wipe my settings. 2.00 did (keyboard settings, HOTAS fine). At 2.00, replacing the bindings config file with a back up file did not work.

Unrecoverable error on adjudication server - Merge Threads

Hi,

Since this evening I get "Unrecoverable error on adjudication server" when I tried to play (Open Play or Solo Mode).
I had the exact same probleme on SB3 with a different error message.

Maddening !!!!

yes, starting the game from the .exe gave me this error a few days ago (was just mucking about).

I dont have the game waiting for release day, to bump the figures and a nostalgia thing!

Spinny ship problem seems random, have you opened a port for elite on your routers? Check firewall is not blocking, as each update will change the exe so if you allowed 2.0 then 2.01 etc will
get blocked.

Just a idea folks to try and help.

I think it might be a good idea to offer up that suggestion to them, in case they don't have any working examples of machines that it doesn't work on.

If I was bug fixing, something like that would be like gold dust.

Gamma 2.03? Game hangs on selecting "Starport Services" and then game goes "south" after that.
