Hi,

gamma 2.02 is incoming and should be live in about 30 minutes. It's a hot fix for the movie player issue causing a crash on start up.

Probably, the problem seemed to be how they were calling webmsplit.dll - removing that allowed your system codec (K-Lite) to take over without a crash.

Is the "DECAL CRASH" the problem i am experiencing of the spinning ship on loading stopping and hanging up?
I ask as this problem occurs on all my machines in house and so is looking more and more like a network problem to me all the time (it worked open play pre-gamma 2.0, now it freezes on open play and I have got into open play ONCE on one machine).

This is where after attempting to apply decals in the livery screen the game attempts to verify and then crashes to desktop. It seems to corrupt the save and so once its happened you can't get back in at all.
