Patch Notes Update Gamma 2.02 Incoming

Got into game with 2.02 and the route planner is broken, it takes a very long time to draw the available jumps and then when you select a route and go back to the ship view the last point you had targeted in the map is selected instead of the first on the route and there is no indicator in the navigation list for the route.

How did you get into 2.02? I hang at rotating ship!

Unfortunately the bug with the xbox controller unbinding is still there. Keep going guys, you can do it! These frequent updates are promising and I don't envy the 80 hour week you're probably putting in.

Now I get to see the ED logo after pressing play !

And I get to the start menu and can even choose open mode...

Then you guessed it, it's the Spinning Orange Ship of Doom...

i had that problem yesterday. i changed some of the graphics settings including fullscreen and apply. Realize my key bindings are gone, remapped everything. Try starting solo mode, spinlocked. Tried it again with turning borderless window on again. It suddenly working again and haven't got the spinlock ever since.

Maybe it has nothing to do with it, but then again it's worth a try. It could be something like the graphics setting file corrupted/incomplete or whatever that gets overriden when you change the graphics settings? (just pure speculation)

Yep, I'm basically also back to the OSOD screen with Game freeze now

As with 2.00, Windows Task Manager - after opening it to kill the process - reports executable has stopped responding, requiring the forced termination of the task.

Urgent: Galaxy map search seems to be broken in Gamma 2.02.
I'm entering LAVE and every time pressing [>] button or ENTER key the map points to the random star in the galaxy (not LAVE).
I have russian localized Windows 8.1 with latest updates.

Yup, just upgraded to 2.02 Frozen ship (2.00 was fine for me).

Yup, apply windowed then apply fullscreen fixed it ffor me on both patches.

When trying to open the hud panels in 2.02 the camera no longer moves to focus on them.

Still got the OSOD problem ship spins 3-4 secs then freezes so just wait for gamma 2.03 and hope

Who else is locking at the rotating ship in 2.02? Anything in common such as AMD card?

Me too. Haven't played since Gamma 1.05. Started downloading 2.00, finally got that updated and it wants to download 2.01, get that done and yup need 2.02. Finally get that done, and spinning ship client lock up. Guess I'll go check out netflix.

I got the frozen ship every time I tries yesterday in 2.00.

Earlier today I checked again (still 2.00) and the game launched perfectly. It was just the once and unfortunately, I was busy so couldn't play.

Upgraded to 2.02, and getting the frozen ship every time again. Frustrating.
