EDIT: Credits are back again now, seems to be an issue with connection or something!!!!

Folks a warning. I was looking around in Cartographics earlier and there was some data for zero credits. On trying to buy it, or maybe sell it (I can't get in now) it has zeroed my credit balance. I've gone from a type-6 with 2.5m credits to a type-6 and zero credits. :(

Not 100% sure of exactly what I did but something is seriously amiss.

I found that this worked for me - my directory was FORC-FDEV-D-1001 the xml file is in the highest number folder under Products.

I have logged in got past SSOD or SCOD in my case - got to station. I have not tried SC or travel to another system - will start with local SC.

Remember - do not run verify files as that will reseet the file to original settings >false< & >30< which I did not spot - when I went to change back after failed to log in - I saw my checking files had reset the xml (I should not have done that).

Ok, I'm in .

The SOLO and OPEN let me in. And the spinning ship ONLY displayed (SPAN) for 5 SECONDS.

Thats a new world record for getting into the game.
Good job boys and girls working late at FDev.

Gamma 2.01 worse...?

Is anyone else finding 2.01 worse than 2.00?
When 2.00 arrived I praised the crispness and fluidity. Today with 2.01 it feels like a big step back. Text is harder to read, I get judder in the galaxy map and the occasional judder in the hangar. In 2.00 I had none and text was much easier to read.

Am I just imagining this, or can someone back me up? :)

After failing to get in and getting stuck in game I restarted and got in ok,

Seeing so many people with mission fails I though id try one, picked up a simple deliver 2 silver to a close system, docked at said system and gave up the 2 silver np.
Got a mission summery, something iv not seen before but I have been trading for a few days first time iv did a mission with 1% rep shown.

Rare goods still broken in 2.02?

Ok, so i thought they were fixing rare goods... been sat in Hemmal Terminal for last 30 minutes... first refresh was 1 supply.... 2nd refresh that 1 supply dissapeared and there is now none available... pretty useless if you ask me!

I got the the start menu and it was greyed out the server was classed as unconnected so i just left it for 10 minutes the server then became connected then i choose solo, i got the spinning orange ship for another ten minutes and then it went in ... so it `might` be the servers just being slow to connect???

Would be nice but for lots of us it fails in the training sessions too - not sure they connect do they?

The same happened to me yesterday. After relogging the credits were there again.

I entered to game ok, but the docking pad would not work either way,

But going out and canceling then asking again worked.

It's the nature of software development :)
I have have got countless of issues after a lot of testing and installing the software on a completely fresh system very similar to the production one. The minute it launches lots of other things goes wrong. :p
Especially if software has to run on multiple systems with varying hardware components, it is predestined to fail. No good Q&A can test every single bit of systems out there, or trying to recreate every possible mix of soft&hardware that runs on user systems.

Stuff it, I wiped my save to see if that would make any difference, I got in, but on my first attempt to pick up a mission, I get "Failed to communicate with server". Enough is enough going to leave the game till launch day, see if it has improved any, I sincerely hope so.
