Patch Notes Update Gamma 2.02 Incoming

I've just finished the update and I'm still OSOD too.I'm still OSOD as well, very sad
I know this is a hotfix for the movie issue only, but missions still don't work. Failed to communicate with server, unable to complete mission transaction. Hope that get's fixed soon.
EDIT: Correction, the game freezes on loading now. The spinning ship stops, the music keeps playing but the game is hanging.
I give up. Ever since Gamma 2 the game basically became unplayable for me. Even if i do manage to get into the game, there's only mission bugs, audio-visual stutter and general poor network performance waiting for me.
The game launches in only 4 days and i expect it to ship more or less as it is now (with the worst, game preventing bugs hopefully killed) and that there still will be patches after launch.
I will check after launch and take another look. But somehow i doubt they will flip a magical switch and their servers suddenly work better. And SOLO becomes boring pretty quick.

The update fixed my CTD problems nicely, Thankyou. Please keep working diligently of the other issues as they are have bad effects on the game.

After not being able to get, I've been playing for 2 hours and I was really
enjoying the SOUND, the best ever,
loving the big bright Nave red and Green Lights,
The blue transition effect into and out of Supercruise that making it feel it's happening , not like a pause, great stuff.
Great clicking on the System Map, station icons and it working every time, and all the other great small things
Am I making you feel jealous yet!
Then I jump into Hyperspace and ,,, it looks so great,,,A bit longer than usual.
it's nice to see it this long.
Maybe I'm jumping further........
and still more hyper space .......
and more and more,

the sound of the hyperspace are great too,,,,

So for me the game worked fine on Gamma 2.0 than I had to update and would occasionally get the OSOD. then had to update again for Gamma 2.02 and now I can't get it to play at all anymore.

Fdev will have to close their building at some point for sleepy time.
So in the morning they will feel refreshed and solve all these little niggles.
Remember: Theres plenty of time till launch, on the 16th January,,oops
DecemberOSSOD (orange spinning ship of doom) is listed in the KNOWN BUGS
To report something positive, missions have been solid for me for the last half an hour or so. One that had vanished completely popped up again, didn't vanish again at any point, and could be completed.
Hopefully some server-side fixes have gone in.

Hanging in hyperspace exit now, freezes meaning ctrl alt del to exit game, dropping to main menu on exiting hyperspace occasionally Gamme 2.02 is terrible for me. It's a week to launch this should be fixed by now - stability is everything at the moment forget additional content. The game needs to be playable at launch.....

Just want to second this. Missions started working for me a while ago and missing transactions showed up again. Couldn't collect bounties as of 10 mins ago. Gamma 2.x has been a smooth ride for me so far, I feel for those with OSOD problems.
Saw a few players docking in Knapp.
The planets and the galaxy background look like some kind of crazy interactive Hubble-image inspired painting, it's a little bit wonderful.
Bummer, just got home an eagerly downloaded 2.02 in the hope of it fixing the OSOD issue, but nope
Still can't get past the stuck spinning ship and have to end process in Task Manager.
So looking forward to playing/testing new build, hopefully FDEV can get to the bottom of this problem quickly.

You need to set up your keys again in options. Your computer has not frozen....
Ive played a couple of hours tonight with just 1 freeze. It happened when opening system data info for a system inside galaxy map. Had to use task manager to kill client. Logged in again and continued to play. Only thing I dont understand is if someone exports gold and you buy a ton to sell to someone who imports it, why a loss? Well, anyway had a nice night of playing Gamma 2.02. I like that ships are dropping more cargo. Its fun to haul black market goods, or stolen goods Just one freeze here else no problems. Sad to hear someone cant play at all. I guess another patch incoming soon. Its 4 days till release.

Download wasn't a problem but playing is because start button is grey.
Edit:
I managed to get into the game as the start button worked after a few tries but i get alot of diconects on bulletin boards.
USZAA Guest Instalatlion for example.
BTW Why do we need a video with compression artifacts in the start menu when the engine can render it so much better ?
