BTW if your HUD no longer opens, there is a new option under graphics for "disable UI camera lock on", which is on by default :p

So glad the TrackIR issues have been addressed. Was getting used to the 'no roll' and gliding speed of it though. Odd eh ^^
And there are many other things in the list I'm happy about to see fixed/adjusted. Thx FD

Why would the data be worth 0 credits? Furthermore why would anyone want to sell exploration data for no profit.
I am confused.

Previously they were not showing causing Commanders to wonder why they couldn't sell the data for the system they just scanned.
I think they are 0 because the system was recently scanned / data sold by another player, but perhaps other reasons too.

By showing them, it eliminates the confusion of "why is my scanner not working / why can't I sell my data" but replaces it with, "why is it 0" :)

Fixed the stuck spinning ship of doom for me. 3 of 3 starts on open and solo play worked without a hitch.

Just out of interest, since I spent more time trying to workaround this bug than any other, what was the cause of the softlock?

At last, a patch that works. Good work from the Devs. I have been unable to progress past the OSSOD (Orange spinning ship of death) since the Gamma 2.0 upgrade. Now it works and I'm getting hammered by everything in the system...excellent!

Still not being able to complete faction missions is a major pain. I wasted an hour yesterday figuring out and carrying out a 'capture rebel transmission mission' to completion, then to find a server connection error. So not only do I get no payment for completing the mission, I also get marked down by the faction too. Bloody annoying.

Can confirm, still unable to complete this kind of mission.
Besides, the mission disappeared from the bulletin board, and reappeared only after I went to the target system & picked up those rebel canisters once again.

  • Seperate 'UI Back' into its own bindable input (Note this might affect players with custom bindings!)
  • Made backspace the default back button for all control schemes to ensure it's always at least bound to something. Control pad schemes also have B bound to back too

Hurah! I am easily pleased :D
This will make menu transition much quicker, thanks.
