Getting dizzy watching that orange ship spin and spin and spin and now I see all kinds of colour...I hear faint and strange music...why are there voices in my head?...oh look, my hand is made out of cheese...and the walls are dripping...dripping...the voices..they..I must.... KEYBOARD ERROR press F1 to continue
im having a few problems, namely, loading...first time: was loading into my ship form the menu, eternal loading screen. second time: jumping from the potriti system to the apoyati system, eternal hyperspace. third time, not even letting me select start, it doesnt say unconnected in the bottom left, id say this is a major issue?
^ That. And now the client is unable to connect with the server.

The update reset the video settings. Make sure the right windowing mode is on.
Besides the OSOD being back, i'm glad E: D doesn't hog 100% processing power when alt+tabbing anymore

The game executable immediately crashed on the Frontier logo, (didn't get to the Elite one). I downloaded and re-installed the launcher and rebooted and it's back running again now.
why don't people do the down load then go watch the hobbit - give the servers a break - you know what it's like by now - that said Frontier do need to have a status indicator on their launcher to make things clear - a bit like

What? I'd figure there would be loads of people in the Empire and Federation hiring assassins to kill their superiors so they could secure the higher position. Especially government officials just below the highest level of government.
Speaking of, Assassin/Hitman would make a cool job and probably would pay very well in ED.

Yes but most people know GMT and BST here in the UK... I bet if you asked 100 people on the street, less than half would know what UTC is
Actually, UTC and GMT are the same thing. GMT is just the old, outdated name that, for some reason, landlubbers insist on keep using!
NEIN. UTC and GMT are not the same thing. They are only the same value. GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) is a time zone, like EST (Eastern Standard Time) or MCK (МоCKо́вское вре́мя) based on the local time at the Greenwich Observatory in London, and is used in European and African countries sharing the same longitude as Greenwich. UTC (Co-ordinated Universal Time or temps universel coordonnée) is standardized time throughout the world, and indeed the universe, used to calculate local time. UTC is the time on the International Space Station and other spacecraft. As an astronomer in the UK I use UTC to co-ordinate my observations with other astronomers around the world. It's only natural that ED should use it.
