Proposal Discussion Gank Club - Testing bad behaviour

I'll gladly help but won't be able to until premim beta starts on the 30th. But count me in from that point forwards.

Just to make people aware I'm Premium Beta too so I won't be starting this till 6th or 7th of June.
Not starting it straight away as no doubt people will want some time to mess about and enjoy the game a bit.

I'll let this thread run until then just keeping the main post updated with testing ideas and volunteers. Nearer the time I'll post something here, message all the volunteers with Teamspeak details, testing plan, place to meet etc.. and we'll take if from there.

Again I want this to be a pleasant experience even if we'll be doing unpleasant things so we'll keep it nice and light and chillaxed.

This seems like a good idea. I'm glad to see that you are extending the issues looked at beyond just griefing to cover other possible exploits. I can't commit to helping out at the moment, but should know nearer the time.

I do think, however, that for the tests on ganking/blockading/police response etc... it would be advisable to provide some advance notice (at least 24 hrs) of the system/station that is to be targeted. This should allow those people that do not want to PvP to avoid the affected system or if groups have been enabled by that point to use that option. This would, I hope, cut down the amount of negative reaction to the tests. Obviously, this might lead to fewer potential victims, but it might also lead to a few additional people coming to be willing victims. I would certainly be interested to know how easy it is to survive/escape a gank or break a blockade and I'm sure that others would to.

Not quite as loony as his avatar might suggest...

I'm proposing that a group of public spirited individuals help FD during the Beta to identify bugs, exploits and ways of abusing the system for nefarious means so they can iron them out prior to release.

Excellent and well thought out idea. Count me in Commander!:)

Bravo KINGSTON. Willing and (possibly) able to help out however I can. Now, let me just go through the small print of that waiver you just thrust at me for a moment or two... ;)
