General question about Planecoaster

Hello, I am going to move this to the How Do I subforum.
If you select a ride with the left mouse button you open it's window. The Green, Orange and red control open, test and closed. There are several tabs which depending on ride type may have speed settings, sequence settings (for flat rides) and other settings.

Thanks for the reply. You mean like in RCT3? There isn't the possibility to use the ride control panel to set the light, speed, protections etc..?

we can't, for example, make a ride last 2 minutes if it's 3. But some flat rides have sequences where you can add or subtract sequences. Example, if a flat ride spins in both directions the sequence might be set to - Forward Spin - Forward Spin - Backwards Spin. You can add more Forwards or Backwards spin (or delete them) as many times as the ride allows making it shorter or longer.
Coasters: the only speed you can control is the chain lift. The speed, just like in real life, depends on the first drop. You can't set the speed to 60 mph or anything like that.

You can however change the amount of friction a coaster has on the track. This was a much requested feature that was thankfully added to the game in retrospect.
If you set this to its lowest (-1) your train will keep the highest speed and wont decelerate.
The only coasters you can set your speed are launch coasters.
Tracked rides and transport rides also have the option to change speed.
