Getting a new PC. Does Elite have any preferences (Cpu, Gpu)?

I use an i5 4460 and a GTX960 4GB and it runs Elite on a 2560x1080 quite nicely in space at ~60fps but sometimes drops to 30-40fps at stations and on planets. I also have it running 3 other scrns for edmarket / edengineer, a spreadsheet and firefox for other stuff. I have only just come across GPU-Z again so shall start looking but I imaineif I only ran one scrn it would be absolutely fine, Elite is probably not at all of its highest settings.
I have the 3080 RTX. I came from the 1080Ti. No idea what the frame rate was.
Took a while, but the new rig is finally here! Can't wait to try it out.. 
11th gen i9 11900k @3.5 GHz, 64gb ram, 12gb Nvidia GeForce Rtx 3060, 4 terra SSD drive. Screen is 49" Samsung Odyssey G9. Everything else Corsair.
Never played on such a high spec rig before! It's basically for the nephew... hehe.. would never spend that kind of money on a gaming PC.
