My other tip I'd that the slider on the throttle can be used as a switch. I use mine to toggle flight assist on/off.
Anyone know if analog dials and the slider is working other than as a switch yet? I haven't checked in months and it would be great if they did.
I believe so. Will be updating the master profile this afternoon and re-uploading to the dropbox.....
Favour to ask - one of the more visually minded commanders fancy doing me a drawing of the profile that I have been sharing as an easy reference card?
(By my count, nearly 200 commanders have downloaded the profile so far!)

All of my X52 woes ended just by keeping the control panel open on my desktop. Not had one problem since then and all my buttons/trigger/switches work all the time. It's just part of my "setting up for an ED session" routine.
Excellent thread. Just got my X52 today and have it up and running witht the help of this thread. Mapped the mouse button as my FSD button, though it does not work for disengaging so I still need to figure that out.
My x52 pro is starting to niggle. At just over 1 year old, and hardly heavily used at 5 hours per week.
The display brightness isn't always the same, sometimes bright, sometimes dim, others not lit at all.
The button LEDs, sometimes don't light up in the correct colour, instead so reverting to green.
Worst of all is the dead zone I need for pitch. I can sometimes have it very small, and sensitive, just how I like it for combat.... Fine moves.... Others I need the zone twice the combined size of the zone indicators. I find I have to alter this on the fly in game too.
If only there was a physical track dial on the stick like in the olden days of computing with analogue joysticks to correct your drift.
I need to send mine back for a replacement. After barely 3 months of use, the throttle unit has gone berzerk. When advancing the throttle in either direction, anything bound to the scroll wheel near the HAT will also be activated. That was my default for adjusting the radar range, but I had to move that to the keyboard, because moving the throttle would cause it to zoom in and out. The lights on the throttle itself also go crazy when moving it. The buttons themselves still work properly, but the lights will flicker, often go off altogether, or dim. Usually the D and E buttons go out completely, while the I button dims or flickers. The MFD also changes brightness at random, and usually loses one or more lines of text. It also frequently thinks one or more buttons are in use, even when I'm not using it.
It's a nice setup, but I'm rather disappointed in the crappy build and lack of anything resembling QA. I'm hoping I get a replacement that actually works, and it's all beat to hell like most 'refurb' warranty replacements tend to be.
