How are shareholders going to change the direction of the game when DBOBE himself owns 56% of the shares in FDEV?
DBOBE faction influence: 56%
Other factions influence: 44%
We might need a civil war here, what you reckon ?

How is it that you have come to that mighty conclusion?
EVE in its hayday had...what? 10000 users? So lose 10000 players to EVE...some may stay because they believe in ED's vision...the rest - well reducing the PVP related complaints from this forum is no bad thing.

It doesn't matter, if a director can be shown to be actively harming a company they can legally be removed.DBOBE faction influence: 56%

Not saying this is the case here but it's good to know when internet arguing![]()
Same here, pretty much.

Things have moved on in gaming to such a degree that certain things are just taken for granted, and these things are standardised and just work.
Swimming against the tide is all well and good but the fact of the matter is that the torrent coming towards us in this flimsy metaphor is full of well used ideas that the gaming world has invented, tweaked and perfected over the last decade or so and to let them float by us and crash over the Waterfall Of Broken Dreams is silly, don't be scared of them, embrace them. The rest of the world has done for years and years and years
ilog in screen said there were 47000 pilots all connected.
You can always pressure the majority stakeholder, ya know
It can get a bit messier than that if stuff goes to court but I take your pointDirectors may be able to be removed but the shareholding remains with the individual.
thank you comrade
yes i love ed, yes is freaking awesome, fliying your ship is.
all the rest you feel nobody, you are nobody, and the npcs are just ghosts, and the missions aleays the same pver and pver, and nothing ever changes
so here the solution. Give the changes to the player.
someone wants to claim zaonce? Let them do that
someone wants to destroy george lucas station? Let them do that, and whoever wants will be defending
want to block the esport of onionhead for real? Let the player do that
Wow is the botting that bad? I don't play Eve so have no idea, I'd love a link to read more about that if you have it, I do know WoW is struggling at the moment and their genius (sarcasm) idea is to nerf grinding spots, which obviously affects genuine players. You mean, 4,700 players and about 42K bots?
Same here, pretty much.

How would one hope to accomplish that? Players have bought and paid for the game - financial threats are reduced to refusing to buy cosmetics or expansions (i.e. not stopping paying subscriptions as the game has none).
ED doesn't 'need' to take on anything as long as it remains popular and self sustaining, not at all.If the ideas are so well worn, why does Frontier *need* to adopt them - there must be plenty of other games out there to satisfy players who require these features....
Your statement seems to suggest that anyone that would prefer not to see such changes made to the game should just give up now because of the apparent inevitability of changes being made to the game to make it "conform" with players' expectations gained from other games.
Oh yeah I get that, I was just hoing for an article link or something as I like reading about things like thatThere's a lot of multiboxing going on; when you can make (and steal) real-worth monies there's incentive for the less ethical of us to make actual value.
