Of course it is. If they just acted on every buff request and then the subsequent requests when people demand more again then it's a race to the bottom of gameplay. All games have rules and time scales to achieve things .

yeah, I have 2 AFMU's and a Repair Limpet Controller in my Asp X. Very familiar with the process of repairing, but the fact that I have to do so and then restock the AFMU's when I reach my destination means the Neutron star boosting is still costing me money... that and the fact that it is only extending my jump by 1.5 times (my normal jump range is 41 and boosted is 61) means that I get very little benefit (read as none) by using a neutron star. I'm better off and faster just using the standard jump process.

I tried the Neutron star boost last night for the 2nd time (first time since it was made part of the Jump plotting) and it took me 2 times longer to get to my destination because I had to spend so much time lining up on the Neutron star.
