done.Stick me down for sector 1,
x-rate-limit-remaining, which shows how many more requests you can make before you hit API limit. It usually starts at 720, and replenishes at 1 per 5 seconds (but other headers will verify this). You could make a request every 5 seconds and the limit-remaining shouldn't decrease more than 1. Excluding systems not in EDSM and other data issues, I think you're looking at ~50k systems. Should make things quicker than 2 weeks.Coincidence. My latest EDSM query script makes 60 queries every 5 minutes. Found by trial and error. You really need to include system id64 on spreadsheet - name isn't unique (D Velorum vs d Velorum, API can't distinguish them), and it makes comparison to spansh much easier at a glance.
You should also move to spansh as main data source with EDSM only there to supplement bodyCount. EDSM has an utterly ridiculous policy of deleting systems where the original submitter hasn't logged in for over 2 years and no-one else has visited the system in the last 2 years (it might exclude benefactors from the culling policy but I wouldn't want to bet on it). I'm convinced at least some of the survey will have hit this problem.
When using EDSM API there is a header sent back,x-rate-limit-remaining, which shows how many more requests you can make before you hit API limit. It usually starts at 720, and replenishes at 1 per 5 seconds (but other headers will verify this). You could make a request every 5 seconds and the limit-remaining shouldn't decrease more than 1. Also, check DMs.
That's correct. Somehow the 6 got lost. I will be posting a new spreadsheet of incompletely explored systems later today.Gliese 410 on the list, could not find but there is a Gliese 4106 that matches the body count, bodies listed specs, if this is so then it has been done.
Yes, I'm not expecting much progress on this.I have revised my list, looks like this may take a while to finish![]()
We finish when we finishYes, I'm not expecting much progress on this.
Yes, I do the same if there looks to be interesting bio.I have been noticing the same, but if there is bio present it is worthwhile checking to see if first footfall has been made.
