Astronomy / Space Going to Mars

The film Abyss was based on what is known as the USO phenomenon as was Close encounters of the third kind was based on the stories of abductions.

It may well be all crap....or maybe something in it

Many people including me are sceptical but I do have an open mind that people do see unexplainable things and I cannot prove they didn't see it any more than they can prove they did...

Who said it was trying to stay out of sight ?
I don't recall writing that

Ah, so it was based on rumour, vagueness and imagination then? Sorry, I thought there was something with, you know, ACTUAL evidence behind it... my mistake. ;)

You didn't say it was trying to stay out of sight - I assumed that a folding space culture that wasn't being open (as they're clearly not) would know how to stay out of sight of the craft's windows, that's all! I guess they actually wanted to be a vague light Apollo's window then, later to be identified (by Buzz) as a panel from the rocket.

Courtesy of Stanton T. Friedman, another money grabbing joker playing on his so called physics title. Seriously, the guys a joke. Noooooo this is not a guy making a living off the gullible.

LOL Sorry PacalB I didn't realise I posted the same post twice.....I thought I edited the original with a better pic..

Don't worry though im just larking about on the subject :D

Just a heads up people, if you are interested in Mars and enjoy a good read, I'd suggest you pick up a copy of a book called The Martian by Andy Weir. Its a book heavy on science and of the adventures of an astronaut stranded on Mars. Read it, its a brilliant book of human survival on another planet and really take you there.
