Sorry but this thread is for grownups, I'm sure there are some other threads that allow the kids to play.[haha]
It's 9. All those threads have closed for the night.

OK, just about had enough of getting ganked every other day in open now. So to the cmdr flying the FDL at Ceos congrats!!!!!!!!! One less cmdr in open, hope you enjoy the dwindling number of open players in game.
Open is a waste of time unless you want other people to get on your way when you try to get stuff done.
If you want cooperative interactions, aim for a PvE group like Mobius.
Or they can do what most of us do and not bother. Its not like the sociopaths you encounter in Open offer the kind of lasting player interaction any sane person would long for, let alone actually miss.
How does the typical PvP MO of taking an over engineered Conda, Corvette, FDL etc. and hunting down noobs and shieldless trading ships translate into any kind of behavior/skills to be admired?
Frankly, my reaction to such pond scum is just the opposite. There are no redeeming qualities available in that mode that can not be experienced in any other that would warrant even 10 minutes worth of my free time invested into better coping with A Holes.
The A Holes can have it! I really couldn't care less. A single PG session with trusted friends is worth a dozen mediocre Open sessions with arrogant randoms.
Judging by your reaction they seem bountiful, so I'm sure you'll have no problem providing some links.
It's the purpose of internet discussions to make a big deal of everything
No matter how small of a hiccup, it always feels like the world as we know it is going to end.
Once we fix the problem, which we always do, we slip into a shame spiral, suddenly so humiliated by our childish behavior.
It’s like we’ve finally become adults, and then we end up completely pulverizing all of that grown-up street cred we’ve worked so hard to earn. - Gigi Engle

Well, i hope you take into account the number of pages per thread.
I've had plenty of impromptu cooperative interaction in Open.
Indeed, I probably have more cooperative interactions with strangers than hostile ones, except when I'm going out of my way to look for trouble.
Ahh here we are the regular reminder of why I play solo, reading through this thread I wouldnt want to spend my gaming time with half the people posting. But then im not sure if thier egos would fit into the instance.
Its a game dosnt matter what mode you play in, and lets be honest open is just as empty as solo 99% of the time unless your in hubs.
Never understood the whole "epeen on the table" mentality of some players just because they play in one mode over another but then on the flip never got people moaning about being killed whislt in the mode which allows pvp, wanted or otherwise.
To add I dont want to get good, I just dont want to play this game with others hence my choice of solo.
I repped you, though I am not sure in which one of the halves I am.
But I feel the same. People should stop buffing their feathers over which mode they play in and just enjoy the damn game.
Sadly I was flying a dolphin, the last ganker was flying FDL so not much I could do.
Agreed. There are plenty of examples of this.
Also, as I said previously, the position that Open is devoid of players is baseless, and is usually only held by folks who themselves have been killed in Open and are holding a grudge.
Yeah I agree I might have come over a bit strong but tired off the whole mode argument, with that... o7

Solo is the only option for me since the wizards came. I do pop into Mobius or FleetCom for a chat from time to time though.
10 out of 9 things there are poisonous, makes sense the internet would be too ;-)
