I got a new graphics card because when i play the alpha the people in the game move like they are in slow motion. The rides are faster than the people but i think they probally could go a lil faster.I have a

3.4 gig intel processor
windows 10,
8 gigs memory

the Card I bought is a amd radeon hd 5450 2gb ddr3

and I started the game up and still the same, people walk in slow motion but when they run u can tell they are running but still lag some

any suggestions would be appreciated

The card you bought is far below the minimum requirements for the game. For AMD cards, the minimum is an ATI Radeon 7850 Graphics card with 2GB of Graphics Memory or better.

Hi i just bought a cyberpowerpc and the game looks awful. Please help me here are the specs

Amd fx 4300 3.8 quacord
8 ddr3
Nvidia gt 730
Power supply rs 350as. 350watts

I was planing to send it back. Please let me know and thanks.

You bought a new card so you could run the alpha properly? Should at least wait for release so the game is optimised better before seeing if you need a new card.

eww AMD.. and a cheap one aswell :/ that card is not built for games of today. it runs stuff like CS fine, but thats some old graphics. i would advice this: save up some money and invest in a good card, you wont regret it. it will last for years to come in games and is in the total run cheaper than buying cards that are like $50 every time you buy a new game.. i would advice going with an nvidia but thats my personal prefference, amd is more a budget gamers hardware which is cheap and meh.

Sadly your GPU is far below the minimum GTX 560: https://forums.planetcoaster.com/sh...-Coaster-alpha?highlight=minimum+requirements

Worse still, I would be concerned over the stability of a 350W PSU if you were to upgrade the GPU [ugh]

For reference, here is a comparison between your GPU and the minimum: http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-560-vs-GeForce-GT-730

I suggest learning about GPU's before buying extremely outdated ones.

the bad part is im on a fixed income ,even getting this card was a tough decision, another thing that doesnt help is my computer is a sff so finding vid cards that actually fit can be a headache as well

well You spent 75$ on 1/250th of a game, it cant be that fixed, you could have spent a little more and got a decent GPU.

anyways don't want to hound you. move your budget around and save for the next 6 months. and buy a 970...which is only 2/3 more than you spent on a extremely unfinished game.

Edit: Just read that your computer might be too old for last generations cards. Ya that's a pickle. Might have to sit this out for a while until you can afford a full upgrade (500-600$)

yeah thats what i was afraid of,wouldnt be bad if my paypal was paid off then id just get a new system for gaming but that will be a while,

is a Geforce gtx 950m graphics ok?
also what about an intel hd 530. its built into a high end super powerful 6th gen inyel core i7-6700HQ quad core processor. acccording to windows 10 task manager its not the ram thats the problem it only uses 4.5gb ram but my cpu which is maed out at 100% 2.69ghz my cpu is intel core i5 6200u. i can conclude althoygh the 6700hq cpu has a weaker graphics chip that chip is getting help from the fast 6700hq quad core cpu since its integrated into it.

4gb ddr3 gtx 950m graphics card.

Never buy hardware unless you know a lot about it. Because otherwise thats money down the drain.

Also if income is steep simply save up and wait, patience is a virtue - there is no rush to play computer games they can wait in life.

Or at least have guidence from people who do know hardwre, before buying, from forums like this.

i checked and the i7 6700hq cpu is a high end 6th gen intel cpu released last year. also even the intel hd 530 can play bf4 and cod with above 10fps frame rate. even i can play the sims 4 on high settings with intel hd 520 in my i5 6200u pc. i love this game.... but the average laptop will struggle to play it. i dont want a desktop they lack convenience in terms of mobility which laptops have. laptops can still pull off some amazing stuff.
what about a laptop with i7 6700hq quad core cpu with 4gb gtx960m 16gb ddr4 ram? according to windows 10 task manager its not the ram thats the issue only using 4gb but the cpu which is maxed out my cpu is i5 6200u. i can play the game at 1080p at 1 to 10fps or 1024x768 low at about 28fps.

ok i talked to the people I bought the vid card from and explained my situation and I can send it back for a refund and I asked them about any recommendations and he said that maybe a NVidia GeForce Gt 610 2gb but wasn't sure if it would make a whole lot of difference since my computer is sff which makes graphics cards extremely limited any ideas would be appreciated about this card

What is your budget? Where do you live? Maybe then we can suggest the best card for the money.

The Radeon R9 Nano is made for very short and small cases, but I'm guessing that is out of your budget at $500 US on Amazon.

Edit: I'm seeing that the GT 610 is slower than the GTX 560. So that GT 610 card is not a good choice either. Nvidia's naming system can be confusing for sure. Here is one page I'm seeing when I type both of them into google: http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-560-Ti-vs-GeForce-GT-610

Does your case need short cards that are half the height?

yeah $500 is way too steep, and yes I need a 1/2 height although the card I have now is for a regular tower I just cant close the case as it sticks about 2 inches too high but the card still works.I was on chat with NVidia and the guy said he would recommend a gtx 750 ti sm form, take it from me never ever buy a short form they suck at upgrading ,even the memory the most I can have is 8g which I have

Honestly someone who has budget issues should not have even considered buy the alpha release. That being said you should never buy a new game without checking it against your PC specs especially if your PC is old, that just standard PC gaming protocol.
