Great Raxxla Potato Hunt - Help us scan every system within 200 ly of Sol

Now that the search is about half complete, it is good time to start mentally preparing for the inevitable end result and the next step in the search.
I predict the end result of this potato hunt to be: no Raxxla found.
Next step will of course be: enter each and every Belt Cluster in all those systems. Optionally also each ring of every gas giant with 8 moons.
Knowing Frontier, I wouldn't be surprised if they found nothing.
Usually they add things when they make some event.
Like the thargoid and guardian battle 'graveyard' from the event last year.
There are many secrets in the galaxy, but 'foundable' only after some event, on thursday.
:/

Except Raxxla has apparently been in since Gamma. That probably puts some limitations on what or where it could be.

Not really as it was said it was in the game yes but they never confirmed and wont confirm if it is reachable now at this moment or was ever, always vaguely ignored answering this
Drew (The famous writer who wrote many Elite stories) spoke with David Braben some years ago, and he confirmed that raxxla now only exists, but it's a place and is somewhere in the game (maybe not funcional).
I really don't know if I believe or not...

If I had to bet, I would say that there is a 'POI' (place, data, ruin or whatever), that needs something to work.
This 'something' would be a new stuff from odyssey.

Okay, there are a lot of unpopulated systems within the populated bubble. Have you come to any conclusion about the ratio of unpopulated: populated systems yet?

why is it a potato hunt and not something like a "truffle hunt"?

Potato's have an easily visible plant attached to them, making finding them kind of simple and not really a hunt at at all.

Also, potatoes are supposed to reference computers that could run horizons but only barely and now have no hope of running odyssey.

How can we focus on searching for raxxla with these issues at play?

Probably faster answered questions than anything thread related so valid points for once in here haha

The survey originated on the discord for helloitskolo, whose members are often referred to as potatoes. It is also common there to refer to planetoids as space potatoes. It must be a British thing. =]

A long time ago on a film set far far away...
During the making of Star Wars the asteroids were described as looking like potatoes by some executive.
The special effects crew responded by including a potato and trainer in the asteroids sequence which you can spot if you slow it down.
