DSS'ing the surfaces, and resolving the immediate signal sources.

I'm not fully versed in the Raxxla lore, but it's my understanding that special attention should be put into the 8th moon of a gas giant, if there is one?

(I have sometimes noticed that some signals on the surface might not appear immediately after even DSS-scanning the planet, but you either need to wait a bit or get a bit closer for them to appear, I'm not sure which.)

Yes, scan, visit and map any GG's 8th moon, any combination that gets you to 8, not just the H moon specifically

I've never seen any signals appear after DSS, were the fixed or proceduaral Odyssey ones?

As the hunt started before the Live / Legacy split, am I right that scanning in Legacy (PS) is still valid?

I scanned Luyten 347-14 using PS Legacy ED, I got

  • No "Other" Signal Sources or Beacons (except Nav Beacon)
  • Alcatraz Class Prison Ship SSC-852 orbiting Rance's Wreck (Luyten 347-14 1)
  • KOK-902 Lowell-Class Researcher orbiting Luyten 347-14 4 (Flight plan: Kokary, Luyten 347-14, Zeta Tucanae, Omicron-2 Erdani, YZ Ceti, Ross 41)
  • No 8th moons.
  • Luyten 347-14 8 g is a ringed moon with Bromelite and Tritium hotspots, a bit odd but nothing else from DSS.
  • No Raxxla

If necessary, I could repeat the scan with my Life ED commander (no Ody) after the current CG. That one is currently out in the black.

i wanted to see the two federal systems myself, did the signal counting and all that, even checked hackable hatches on installations, didnt find anything exceptional. submitted reports via sheet in case they werent done yet.
