Yeah, loot rouletto can kiss my dog.
As opposed to the upgrade rouletto we already have with Ship engineers?

It's denial, like I said....
I do not grind. ...
I did not participate in that. Apart from the 2 shield boosters I was able to craft with a stock of 3 months "just playing the game" until I was out of any mats.As opposed to the upgrade rouletto we already have with Ship engineers?
I. Want. Everything. Now.
Well, yes, I do play the same game for years. Might seem like a grind. It's denial, like I said.

Loot boxes? Pls no.excitement to opening containers and getting rewards
Again. Why there is a trader only for components?
Loot boxes? Pls no.
Variation? That is only masked by the RNG - the meta would still be the same. Only the complaints would be more numerous because there'd be more unlucky ones complaining about the glacial progress of their upgrade rolls. I remember you could also roll inferior outcomes. Yeah, that was pretty bad at launch.Just because you didn't participate doesn't mean it didn't exist. Ship engineering was full of random rolls.
Having randomised mods dropped from scavenging and missions wouldn't be out of place, and would add variation and... dare I say it... excitement to opening containers and getting rewards.
And it would be stuff you could do "just by playing the game"
Or you could just not participate in it like you did with Engineers.
What's the point then? With luck you can find pre-upgraded equipment in pioneer supplies right now. And AFAIK it can have engineer mods. These are in game containers that you open in game with no currency requirement

I'm not in ok with any RNG.So you're ok with "loot boxes"
I'm not in ok with any RNG.
Are you still playing games? Almost all games involve RNG, even board games ... even the planet generation in ED is rolling the dice.I'm not in ok with any RNG.
