Yes, as long as no one sees you. The first time caught you get a warning to leave, and the second time they open fire.

Also if you can't allow yourself to get scanned, you do have a get out of jail card. Pull out your gun, the guard will forget about scanning and tell you to stow your gun. This also only works once, after that they start shooting.

Both the trespass and the stow weapon warning shows up on your HUD.

Yeah, that's a long standing bug where a pick-up goes into a restricted zone. I've only ever had that at one type of settlement though. I don't think it's ever been reported as an issue because most people just abandon it if they're not murder hobos or just go murder hobo.

There's quite a few missions that are legal, but not many that don't involve combat. The "retrieve something from a crash site/satellite" missions are sometimes illegal but I've never had security show up at those, lots of scavs though. And thanks to another bug (which is still current afaik), any missions to illegal caches are totally safe.

Excellent. The Odyssey missions are very well designed, and a lot of fun once you understand them. I've had a blast with them.
