Ground won't render

This is my game as of update 5, unmodded. I love this game and I don't know how to fix this. My system info is as follows
Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045
System Type x64-based PC
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8300H CPU @ 2.30GHz, 2304 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 8.00 GB
Display Component NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050

Any word on resolution Clutchman? I've got the same issue, it's driving me absolutely batty. I can play the malta sandbox fine, but try any challenge or story mode and it's like flying on a hoverboard the size of a city block. I'm also pretty sure that the water's not supposed to be there either, haha. Obviously, this is rendering the game entirely useless. I mean, I like sandbox okay but I never play it, I've been working my way to 100% challenge, and now I've paid money to set myself back 20%.

Edit: 1920 x 1080 is my resolution

I think I should mention after I updated the game, I launched it and got a pop up that my graphics driver was out of date (or something to that effect). Did update 5 come with an upgrade to the game's graphics?

I had the same thing pop up, went haring off to make sure it's updated and in required specifications(it is), and came back to the issue. I just checked the older challenge maps and they're fine, so it's just the new malta stuff. I also turned off texture and verified through steam to no effect. This time I let it get further into the video intro to show my daughter before exiting, and when they hit the valley of ceratopsids, they were standing on a mirror of the sky. Finding the screenshot files in Windows 11 is ridiculously hard without going onto steam and downloading them.

It's happening on every map for me
