Besides using them as 'keys' to unlock a tidbit of tech info (blueprint fragments), we haven't gleaned much - and that's only regarding one of these curiosities.

Even if the permit-locked regions are a way to funnel us thru travel lanes that allow for easier monitoring,** I think it's pretty clear that our use of relics and tech of others also provides a convenient mechanism for that to happen, especially when (as we're all-too-likely to do), we collect a bunch of them. No question that we attract attention. Our presumptions of who's watching - based upon who always shows up in response - may have been too simplistic. *We as a species also have the faulty tendency to assume, when we "discover" an answer, that that's the one, and ignore the possibility that there's ANOTHER. Uh oh!

If you have an image of one of the structures to help CMDRs visualize what you're proposing, that could be helpful. At this point, any aid to help us focus our thoughts is likely useful...

EDIT:
** This permit-locking is done by the Pilot's Federation, or am I mistaken? It finds its way into every one of our flight systems, built-in by every ship manufacturer somehow, very effectively blocking us from those areas of space with seemingly no hack to get around it. Even the Scriveners who have developed tech away from the rest of us don't have access to those areas (we don't think). It makes you wonder about a few things including who they are or who's moving their hand to implement this (referring to the PF).

That's an exciting video log! When the beacon shuts down as you describe, CMDR, is there then an opportunity to record at least some of the markings found?

It appears that you have been able to do so, looking at the album that you shared!

Here is the photo album I am collecting them all in.
Most of the diagrams can be seen if you inspect closely in the covered areas and in some of the grooves. When you look at the wings on the beacon you notice the small pyramid shapes plastered all over it in different combinations. I believe the triangles to be a number system of some kind. And I believe the hieroglyphs to be instructional diagrams. Need to go back and see if I can find any glyphs. And I have yet to record the sound from the computer Core

07 CMDR. I was recently doing some science with an unclassified relic at one of the most distant known Guardian sites and noticed these triangular markings you are talking about. So I'm interested in what you are doing. Do you have a discord and in game PG? My PG are focused on exploring and mapping NSP bubbles. Maybe if you get an expedition going we could support you. Maybe some of our CMDR's would be interested in joining you or aiding you too. You're welcome to check out our website which also provides a link to our Discord if you want to pop-in to establish a line of comms. One of our FC Admirals is planning an expedition that will take players to these distant guardian sites around the NGC3199 nebula, so maybe that would be of interest too. It's approx 250ly from a known Guardian site at Drokoe FU-O b39-0.

Are these what you’re talking about? As far as I’ve seen all keys and relics have the exact same glyph. Including the crystals you see inside the pylons.
