hehe, what a nice encounter...
dont worrying much about any player attacking me while camping at freeport (any assumptions about my intentions are welcome lol), i spotted another anaconda. was quite surprised when i read "CMDR Backer #1", and even more scared when i saw the bounty: $5,000,000 !!! seriously?
after 2 or 3 seconds of calming down, i too

needless to mention that it took me an (felt) eternity (2-3 seconds) to calm down and react by aligning the ship, and taking that screeny :p

i suspect that was the case... but that bounty had to make me think that there's something different going on. under no circumstances i can imagine how a player could exactly hit that amount of 5m, with no players complaining about getting shot (for ridiculous ¢100+¢500 perhaps 10000'd times).

next time ima try *not* to be in a good mood, and collect that little pocketmoney, hahah

is there a poll on "who is backer #1"? my guess: hacker or dev. or both ^^

I think it would be hilarious, with that size of bounty, if backer #1 turns out to be Chris Roberts lol. I mean both DB and CR are supporters of what each other are doing - it would be cool if each was backer #1 of each other's game.

Is it an NPC, it could have been thrown in by Frontier?

I'm guessing if not, alpha backer 1 is a dev or braben himself.

I always imagined Alpha Backer 1 would actually have a name. I suspect foul play. Not saying there is, I just suspect...

If it were Chris Roberts, he'd have crashed into something in record time. Did you see any of the videos where he was flying a Hornet? BEWM!@#&*(^#
