Guest Stuck/Lost Question

So I was thinking about making an island for my guests to explore with a monorail connecting mainland and the island but I don't know if they are going to get stuck like in Rollercoaster Tycoon 3.

So my question is: Will guests get lost if the whole path section isn't connected but there is a monorail or train that the guests can use to get to safety?

I think you would be constabntly getting the message that "whatever" isn't connected to the park entrance.
The way I do it is make a path that goes under ground from the entrance to the island. Because it's such a hike going all the way under the seabed and back up to the island surface, most guests will choose the monorail over walking. Make sure you still throw a few bins and benches on that path.
