Habitat DLC fan list

Hey guys, had a little time on my hands while enjoying Planet zoo, so I thought ill make a DLC list.

Only rules on this was

  • Animal must be semi famous/well known , a distinctive feature or an endangered/critically endangered status to bring awareness
  • Based on habitat animal rigs already in game or not anything major (flying or aquatic)
  • No flying or fully aquatic/marine animals (mainly because there are a lot and they aren’t in game, might make different lists for them if they are implemented, so any flying birds, bats, fish, marine mammals etc...)
  • Too small( a lot of the really small mammals rodents, shrews, bats, primates etc. along with the smaller reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates would better fit exhibits due to their small size, might make an exhibit list later)

I was gonna post a wishlist similar to this so I absolutely support this one!! Indeed, region or biome-based packs within each continent would be more appropiate, otherwise we'd have almost as many animals in one DLC as in the full game (eg: Amazonas, Himalaya, African Deserts, European Forests, etc.). I would also be happy to see more "mainly-ground" birds such as bustards, storks, herons, cranes, fowls and the obvious ratites.

oh i def agree man, the asia and africa one in particular since there is so much, i would love more of the ground birds but i thought it would be more fitting to put them in with the rest of the birds list i might make in the near future. glad you enjoyed. i plan on making a exhibits list very soon, then maybe an aquatic and flying one if such animals are added

I feel like a lot of the picks you listed are way too small to be habitat animals.
i can def see that, i tried to keep them to a meter or so (same size as the pangolin or red panda) but i might add them to my exhibits list one i give it a once over, got any examples?

Add in a marine dlc and birds/fish exhibit animal dlc and I'm happy :p
...tho if they made actual aviaries possible this would be the coolest thing ever, in theory it's possible since they have the fence height limit and null barrier and you could just put mesh or glass walls around and you're good.
That's a very long list for some of the continents xD good luck with that btw...

oh of course, aviaries and aquarium are awesome, i just dont really want to make a huge list like that for something thats not gonna happen anyway, i would love to though when they happen, and thank you, i didnt intened for every animal on this list to get in, this is more a bunch of cool animals that could make it with the rigs already ingame

Well it's a wishlist post, hence - you wish for these to make it into the game. I don't think it's unrealistic at all to expect some dlcs and maybe even an expansion pack if it's large enough and takes a lot programming-wise, I know I'd buy it :p and frontier really doesn't seem like they neglect games post release, at least that's my experience with planet coaster

considering planet coaster history dlc i would not be suprised, all of these frontier games have a lot of dlc which ill buy in a heartbeat

I think pangolins are already a bit too small to work well in the game. Among others, Kiwis, Echidnas, Rabbits and Hedgehogs are even smaller than pangolins.

I also expect that we'll get significantly smaller DLCs with max 5 animals.

i would like to see 10 but ill guess well need to wait and see when the next dlc comes out(hopefully december). and yeah i can def see where you are coming from, they are def harder to select and such, personally i would feel a little sad if active animals like these are relgated to the static statues of the mini exibits, which works fine for reptiles and inverts, but really active mammals and birds...ldk

tbh its kind of a hard one, maybe if there were premade enclosures like ZTXBOX where you have diffrent sizes and diffrent editable things that could work, i just think a lot of these species wouldnt work in the more exhibits enclosures already in game

I agree they wouldn't work in the Terrarium sized exhibits. I don't think they work particularly well in this game at all. I think we might see some of them (Meerkats are just too popular to ignore them completely), but I think the majority will just not get implemented. But I might be wrong.
