Get near Komovoy B7, get redirected back to Komovoy A, 400,000 light seconds back to where I started

What a waste of half an hour, game is playing itself, I don't mind a bit of randomness but w t f

Agree mission running of any type is quickened by shinys in the hold. Gold, silver etc. And your guaranteed interdictions which we all love.

Tip: Don't SC back to the star, just jump to another system then back and you will arrive at the star in moments.

In truth, I'm pretty chill with having to go find my target in a system like that - when you think about it from their perspective, your target generally doesn't want to be killed. ;)
So going and sussing them out around the planet they're hiding behind is fine with me. I said above 'just go scan the NAV-beacon' because it works - but I only do that if I'm in a hurry. I rather enjoy following a target to his ultimate demise. ;)

AAAAHHH! No! I SHOULD have dropped in with a Rail-equipped Krait (with the appropriate mods) and ONLY engage if I have a Beam with Thermal Vent! Whatever shall I do?!?!

As it so happens, I just departed Trophy Camp - I had a G5 M/C I wanted to switch from Corrosive to Incendiary - and encountered a pair of newer players that were eager to test out their Engineered guns. It was INSANE fun - they couldn't get close to getting through the Paradox's Shields and I only fired long enough to strip their hulls a bit - all agreed upon beforehand. They got the message that Tod-ifying their guns does NOT turn them into ultimate killers and fun was had by all.
GOD I love this game. 😁

Did someone say 400 LS was a long way? There is no way to type HA! big enough. Try slogging 21 jumps, then 350,000+ LS, then 21 jumps back to the bubble for a free meta-alloy. o7

Targets like you even without the shinies i find >.>

Also, if you got redirected to the primary star[1], you could just jump out to another system and back in.

[1] weird... never actually heard of that in a mission before.
